Peaceful and Beautiful Get Away

We loved this place and the owner, Tom was wonderful to work with. We had a great campsite with plenty of room in the back of the campground. Even though we were in the back, the wifi worked great the entire time. Being at the end of the water line for the park, our pressure wasn’t great so we used…

We Love This Little Campground

This is a campground located in a tiny valley between two small hills/mountainsides. Tom, the proprietor, is friendly and efficient in guiding the guests to their site. We camped here in mid Sept 2020 and had a great time. We were in site 8. The bathhouse is small, but clean. The stream runs…

Quaint, Lovely! Check out a Jam Session!

Small, sites right near a babbling brook, and very quaint. We followed the directions provided by Tom, the owner, to a “T”. The roads were windy and a tad narrow but definitely do-able as long as you took your time. One of the main attractions of the park is the close proximity of the New River…

The Fries New River Trail RV Park is a unique park with spacious sites overlooking a lush green lawn and a narrow winding stream. The RV park is located in a quiet mountain hollow surrounded by thick forested hills on three sides. The mornings are always cool and light patches of fog float gently across the park rising from the nearby river. Come enjoy the beauty of early mornings, the sounds of nature beginning a new day, and let your spirit be refreshed as you sip that first cup of coffee. And once refreshed, you'll be ready to enjoy the activities of the day. And remember, like an old friend you're always welcome. Rate: $39.00 / night including tax. $40.00 first night reservation deposit required. You must call 276-233-1178 to schedule your reservation. Ten day cancellation notice required for refund of deposit. An $8 fee will be applied on any returned deposits.
