Devils Garden Campground — Arches National Park

We stayed here for a night, and it was amazing. It has a fun little trail connected to it. The grounds were crowded, but we felt like our site was really secluded and private. The bathrooms and facilities were nice and the camp hosts were great!

It may say it’s full but always check.

Spent (3) wonderful nights at Devil’s Garden CG. Despite “FULL” indicators at the park and campground entrances, I drove through and noticed a couple of sites open (cancellations).

$25/night gets you flush toilets, drinking water, dishwashing sink, fire ring, picnic table and picturesque views of the La Sal Mountains and rock formations.

At times, 1-2 bars of T-Mobile LTE. Most of the time no cell service. Beautiful night skies and a great place to spend sunrise/sunset.

We arrived last minute on memorial day weekend and were able to get a spot. Helpful hosts. Well maintained bathrooms. Kid friendly nighttime ranger talks in the amphitheater. Great starting point for several hikes

We arrived in Arches and spent the day exploring. Devils Garden looked fully booked on the recreation.gov website, so we were planning on finding some BLM first come first serve spots nearby but decided to check with the campground host to see if they had any cancellations. The campground host found us an available spot that had opened up and it was perfect! He was so helpful, the campsite was spacious and clean, and they even had flush toilets nearby. Only thing to note is it does get cold at night, don’t let the warm temps during the day fool you! We stayed here late September and it got down to the low 50s/upper 40s. Overall, great campground and wonderful campground host. Would definitely stay at Devils Garden again. :)

Two nights very last minute so on FF basis. Host was very helpful. Pitches were absolutely fine. Location was good as it’s in the park, only campground that is, so it’s highly sought after.

This is the Ravens home; we are just visitors. Seriously, don't sleep on the Ravens. They are always watching. This place is very hard to book for two nights in a row, so consider yourself lucky if you can live here for a couple days. It was quite nice. I think I saw only one or two other multi-night campers. This gives you the freedom to enjoy the park during less crowded time since it is right outside your door. Some sites are better suited for tents and some for RVs. I didn't have many expectations for this Park, but it is truly amazing and beautiful to explore. The La Sal mountains to the east are nice too.

Absolutely gorgeous place to live for a few days! We did daycamp on our site, but chose to leave our RV in town with services. It was fun to camp on the ground under the full moon though! Absolutely breathtaking skywatching experience. I hope the children always remember fondly - traveling in the heat of July gave the odds a 50/50 though... No electric, so bring solar or a generator.

We got very lucky with a last minute spot but the park fills up quick and should book in advance. A great stay and easy access to all the beautiful spots in the park.

The First thing i can recommend is to visit here in an off month of weather even in October it can be hot and crowded though October is much milder when it comes to this place. There is nothing like the parks of Utah they are truly incredible and unmatched around the world. Arches is a land of extremes and its utterly stunning being the bottom of a ocean bed. I wish i could come back here every year. With it being a dark sky park the night time is just brilliant as the park is during the daytime.

This was an awesome campground which is very close to the Devils Garden 8 mile hike. The sites are deep with clean facilities. Book well in advance because random open sites are very rare. Beautiful Arches red rock throughout and great for kids to climb on . Very hot in summer and limited shade.

This campground is first come first served in the winter season, and we were easily able to find a spot without a reservation during the winter.  At this time, however, Arches has a timed entry program so be sure to look into that before heading to this park.

There are flush toilets, water bottle fills, garbage bins, and aluminum and plastic recycling (no glass).

 There is firewood for sale, on certain days only, using a q code on your phone to pay for it, not sure how it works, seems complicated. 

Cell service comes and goes as you go through the park and the campground. We had no service in spot #52 but our cell booster gave us full bars of LTE on Verizon and ATT. Site #52 is at the end of the loop and was pretty private. Also, the trail to the Broken Arch begins right at this spot. 

Fee is $25/night, and there is a 7 day stay limit within 30 days, and 14 days total per year.

Found an awesome spot with some decent privacy. A great base camp from which to explore all the arches. There is also a trail leading directly out of the campground for local adventure. I came in winter, so half the campground was closed down, but there was still plenty of spots. Clean bathrooms, garbage available. Fire pit and picnic table at most sites.

Devil's Garden Campground is a beautiful place in the heart of Arches NP. There are even arches seen from the amphitheater and several more on hikes that start at the campgrounds. We saw several deer. Wood is available but we skipped the fire as the wind was pretty strong and when the sun set it got chilly in November at 5,200 feet. 

The sites are pretty level with a picnic table and a fire ring at each. In November it is no reservations with first come first served basis. The cost was low: $25 or $12.50 with my Sr. discount. It was a great base camp for seeing more of the park. If we had the time I would have spent a week here. There is a camp host on site and water and flush toilets. No electric, sewer or other hookups. No showers. But the location is worth it. If you go during the more popular months, you will need reservations long in advance as there are only 51 sites.

Only campground located inside the park, and it's a must if you want to see the entirety of Arches!  Our site was well shaded, large, and private.  Couldn't have been happier with our site.  After a long day of hiking, it's nice to come back to some shade and solitude. This gave us easy access to all the trails in the park.  Ranger shows were awesome! Shout out to Ranger Lance. If you're trying to check out Canyonlands as well, I'd recommend staying further south.  The drive from this campsite down to Canyonlands is about an hour each way.  Supplies can be bought in Moab.

Had to wait till after 1pm to check in and be out by 10am. Campgrounds very Busy ….Packed with no Privacy. Very Safe Camping area

The spots are all pretty exposed albeit there are cool big rock formations to explore all around. It’s also a long drive in with no service as soon as you get a little into the park. Fantastic views the whole way in. The group sites are the only ones with nice shaded areas with big rocks and trees.

This campground is beautiful with red rock formations and excellent choices for short and longer hikes to natural rock arches.

A little inconvenient, but you can't beat camping INSIDE Arches NP.

A very typical national Park campground with a lot of rules, etc. Sites are OK but little or no shade. No showers. Flush toilets. Only water available is at the restroom to fill up your water bottles. However, the hiking trails are wonderful. Normally, this park fills up by reservation only. Tip: Drive up and talk to the campground host. Many times, they have cancellations. We did that and found a site.

This campground is surrounded by tall majestic rocks high in the Utah desert. Well located to visit several National parks. Toilets and water scattered around this large site. Nightly seminars by park staff.

The best in America? Maybe. The sunset and sunrise are all visible. The night sky is unreal and it’s close to the some of the parks biggest arches.

Mostly quiet and secluded. Good views of the rocks but little shade. Site 2 is right past the entrance but is fairly spaced from other sites

Wow, what a place to stay. Sites are nicely spread out for being a smaller campground. Being in one of the most popular national parks in the country, you really felt like you had a place to your own. My site was right behind skyline arch, which I could walk to without the crowds near me. Highly recommend my site!

Very nice. From the hookups to the driveways. Excellent grassy areas for space.

We were fortunate enough to book this campground for one night on July 4th. There are great views of the mountains and arches that you can walk to from your campsite. The amphitheater where they hold events is right in front of a large arch. The bathrooms are clean and well placed so it isn't too bad a walk from the majority of the sites.  My tip: you will have to book way in advance to get a site but plan to book during a new moon. The Milkyway is on full display from your campsite at night.
