Quiet campground especially off season. Would come again
Beautiful quiet park. Many waterfront sites. Highly recommend
Highly recommend at $10/night. Only two of us on a Thursday night
Very quiet and relaxing park. Highly recommended
Great place other than the mosquitoes Lucky it was windy when we arrived but left the next morning
You feel like you’re camping in a parking but fine renovations clean restrooms with WiFi. $20 night with senior discount
Next to shooting range. Fine as I knew it would stop dusk. But then the camper’s generators started up ALL NIGHT
Very nice campground on a first come first serve basis
Gate closes at 4:00 PM (Feb). Restrooms sketchy. But nice sites
Apparently it is permanently closed. We called and either the phone lines were disconnected or the Maine state forest office had no information on it. Perplexing.
Hard to complain about the state park. The sites are large and there’s a great deal of privacy between each site. Not very good for tents, but RVs will like it. Also, the beach is great and the comfort stations are clean.
10 sites available. Spacious sites. Water available. Showers. Clean campground and quiet at night
Dogs allowed on one side only. Lots of no see ums in evening. Bathrooms are rough and showers unusable due sulfur content. But beach sites are fantastic
Great place to spend a night. Everything open during the winter
One of the few campgrounds open during the winter with facilities
Off season so no amenities. But great place
I definitely would return again. Clean pit toilets. Large sites. Wonderful setting
Small informal county campground. Pit toilet only. Large spaces. Only seven dollars a night.
Perhaps it is just a season, but there were tremendous amount of mosquitoes at the campground during our visit. Lots of stagnant water, lake, etc. Reasonably priced, however, and close to Cedar Falls. The bathroom were a little sketchy and the noise from the highway was quite loud. OK stay for a night.
