SPECTACULAR

If you are visiting national parks Zion is an absolute must on your list. The campground is a little way into the park but not far for you to drive back to town or the main entrance the park its self is along one main road unless you branch off and take the scenic highway to Bryce canyon. The town its self at the park entrance has restaurants a brewery and some coffee shops. This is also a outfitter for everything you will need if you intend to hike or hike the narrows. If you intend to stay in zion then you must hike the narrows and if you have a strong feeling for heights angels landing is a must.

Peaceful solitude in a land of extremes

The First thing i can recommend is to visit here in an off month of weather even in October it can be hot and crowded though October is much milder when it comes to this place. There is nothing like the parks of Utah they are truly incredible and unmatched around the world. Arches is a land of extremes and its utterly stunning being the bottom of a ocean bed. I wish i could come back here every year. With it being a dark sky park the night time is just brilliant as the park is during the daytime.

An immersive rainforest location

Visited here in early may and let me tell you theres nothing like being immersed in the smoky mountain rainforests. The Cosby campground its self is very secluded in the northern part of the park and has a lot of different plots for people to pick from. The bathrooms are somewhat clean and the plots are a little close together although there are some that are farther away from each other. I highly recommend this campsite to all who want to be immersed in what the smokey mountains has to offer. It is also probably a 15-20 min walk to the Appalachian trail.

One of those special places in the world

Let me start by saying what a special place this is. Joshua tree as a whole is a such a magnificent place, but the jumbo rocks campground is otherworldly. I have camped in a lot of different deserts across the country none compare to the amount of fun that can be had on Joshua tree all the climbing and exploring that can be done is outstanding. Although we went in February the weather was great during the day a little chilly and windy at night but with the right preparation all went well. We spent three nights tent camping with sleeping bags and it was low 50s high 40s and we were okay with layers. The days were 60s/70s and sunny. The campsite has about a 45 min drive to town through the north part of the park. Overall this place is amazing highly recommend and for new campers its in the middle of the park but theres lots of people around so you don’t feel totally alone. If u wanna walk away from camp and get away from people and noise theres plenty of opportunity to. If you do stay try and get a camp site next to one of the giant boulders makes for great nighttime ambiance with stars and a fire.
