We have a 36’ Class A with a Cherokee Trailhawk tow and stayed in site MI08 for 3 days in mid June. We left our boondocking site in the Grand Staircase-Escalante NM to get electric and water hookups because the temperatures were climbing into the 100’s in the area. The sites are nice, but closer…

Nothing fancy. We pulled in after a long drive and found a cheap place to spend the night. This place is older and not very fancy. The staff was nice and helpful. They have clean hot showers and full hook ups for our RV.
Enjoyed our stay here. Nice and woodsy. Lots of fun trails for hiking, mountain biking, and horses. These is a small lake near by great for kids fishing (too small for much else). Camp sites were nice with fire pit, bench, and grill. The only reason I do not give this 5 stars, is the road in. The…

I reserved four nights at Lowe beach so I could hook up to electricity and be close to the water with my lab. I arrived at 4pm the first day and we played in the water several times before I saw the “ No Dogs on beach” signs. park personnel kicked us off the beach the next morning and said dogs…
Nice little slice of heaven up there. It is a massive canyon so wind is very prevalent, be prepared for that.
Breathtaking views for sunset and sunrise, and amazing history just a couple miles in. Great ATV recreation area
My first time in an rv. Only $15 per night and that gives you free access to the reservoir
The initial campground was definitely an RV only type of place as there was no coverage to take care of business.
But if you keep going up the road there are more than a few turnouts worth staying at for those of us with tents.
We found a decently sized one roughly 4 and a half miles up the…
This dispersed camping was a life saver. We showed up late at night with no set camping plans. We figured coming to Moab on a Tuesday night we wouldn’t have a problem finding somewhere to camp, but when all the campsites were full we were so thankful to find this campsite. Beautiful sunsets and…
Clean, well maintained campsite. Friendly hosts, even helped us novice RVers get set up. Had a snack bone for my pup too! Will stay here again!
We grabbed a dispersed site near the east Goldwater rim trailhead. Excellent pit toilets at the three trailheads. Bring plenty of water as there is none available. The views are unbelievable. Road in from Castle Dale is very smooth, graded and oiled, until the last two miles. The nice road…
Dispersed camp spots, some REALLY primo ones on edge of canyon with dramatic views. Juniper trees create some privacy between spots. Pit toilets are new and nice. No water or tables. Many built up stone fire rings.

This was a fantastic weekend week we arrived on Thursday and left on Sunday. We were only a couple mins away from the water. No bugs no nothing it was a fantastic weekend. The only thing that was not good was there was no cell service like the review said. My daughter and her friend paint the rocks…

What a great place to set up camp! Very easy to get to, with some rocky roads getting to campsites. Get there early (Friday or first thing AM) to get a prime spot with a view. There were plenty of campsites, but maybe not ones with views directly overlooking the canyon.
We stayed this weekend (early May 2021) at the Swinging Bridge South Campground and had a great time. The campground includes:
- Tent pads at every site
- Plenty of space to pull up in one's vehicle
- Accessible unisex pit toilet
- Picnic tables at every site
- Metal fire rings

Easy to find and accessible. There is a sign on the highway Sheep Creek. This is open range so you might see some cattle. I am sure you will see some cow patties so watch your step. As you come up the road you will cross a cattle guard continue up hill and you will turn left shortly. There are…
