Tranquil Camping

Campsite 32 was beautiful, overlooking the creek, every morning here was blissful. Fairly remote (about 25-30 min from the general store with wifi) this place feels like another world

Pretty great spot!

Lovely area, usually not too crowded and high enough elevation for campfires even during dry season! Not a ton of hikes near the campsite, but about two hours deeper into the forest is the trial of 100 giants with some amazing big sequoias. Great pretty secluded area!

Great Sierra Destination Right on the Meadow and Creek

This is one of our old favorites. We used to camp at Fish Creek all the time, before they re-opened Troy Meadows. There are several spots right on the meadow with easy creek access which we always chose. Campsites here are very generous and a spaced pretty far apart and positioned for a great sense of privacy. The meadow is gorgeous and the creek is clear and cold. A part of Golden Trout Wilderness, we've seen people fishing trout from the creek.
