Directions

WELCOME TO LZJ RANCH’S HIAWATHA HIDEOUT! (Located 1/2 mile east of the ghost town of Hiawatha Utah. GPS: 39.48419, -110.9972 (Main Ranch entry gate just off Hwy 122) This is your jumping off point for some awesome off the grid adventure and serious solitude! DIRECTIONS: Finding the Hideout is easy. From the town of Price Utah go south ~9 miles on Hwy 10 to the Hiawatha exit (Hwy 122). Turn right (west) and go another ~8.5 miles west. DO NOT TURN AT THE SIGN FOR THE TOWN OF “WATTIS”. Keep going west another 6 miles toward the ghost town of Hiawatha with the mountains directly in front of you to the west. Look for the main Ranch gate (on your right→ north side of the highway). Look for a lighted sign if you are arriving late after dark. Go under our large Ranch entryway gate that has elk antlers on top and the name “HARDY”. The gate IS CLOSED BUT IS UNLOCKED. Proceed into the Ranch (please close the main gate behind you so that we can keep our cattle where they belong!). Proceed north and follow the signage.

Beautiful views

A nice secluded getaway. A little harder for big rigs to get in, but once you're parked, it's quiet and breathtaking. Spaced out enough from neighbors to not really need to interact if you choose not to

Hiawatha Hideaway? More like Hiawatha Heaven!

Ashley here with The Dyrt. We're so happy to have this beautiful property on our platform. Level site, no amenities, pack it in, pack it out! This property was made for campers who truly want the camping experience. Sleep beneath millions of stars and then go for a walk. There are no rules but one: "do at least 250 yards of the 2.5 mile loop trail hike to the sheep camp, pond and stream and historic stone buildings(the trail head is located on the north side of the main wagon wheel camping area right next to the port-a-potty)." Check them out and come back here to leave them some love.
