Hill Country RV Resort & Cottage Rentals

Nice Park with little room between sites

The park it’s self is nice and clean.  Staff for the most part is friendly and nice.  The pool is a hopping place over summer break and on the weekends when it’s warm.  RV sites are tight in the daily/weekly sites and parking your 40+ foot rig and tow vehicle in the spot are probably not happening.  They do have over flow parking and depending on your site it could be a good walk.

They are pet friendly and have several dog parks and potty areas through out the park.  The laundry room is like no other I’ve ever been too.  All machines operate via debit/credit cards, no more quarters!!

Over all we enjoyed our stay and would recommend this park for monthly stays or in one of their top tier sites for daily/weekly stays.

    Stone Creek RV Park

    Just off i35

Super easy to get to off i35 between New Braunfels and San Antonio. The park is nice but could use some updating. The daily sites are up front and those are kept up, but if you walk around the park the ones near the back that are mostly monthly rentals could use some TLC. The playground was okay but the dog parks were nicer. It was cold so we skipped the pools but they have two.

We stayed three weeks here after being caught in the Texas Arctic vortex. They were very accommodating considering we extended our stay twice. The location is super convenient and about 30-45 minutes from the River walk.

    San Antonio Alamo KOA

Clean and Fun Stay, Our Dogs Loved It!

What a lovely stay! The facilities were all very clean and updated. The stocked fish pond was beautiful and the dog park was also nice. There were always some friendly pups there when we took our dogs. There's a greenbelt walk right next to the site we were at as well. Bikes to rent, friendly staff, happy campers all over, what more can you ask?

    Canopy Luxury RV Resort

Luxury RV Park worth the price.

Honestly, the price wasn't too bad. Gated community with concierge service to your site. Most sites had some degree of shade and a decent amount of privacy. The pool and shower facilities are very nice and clean. The 2 dog parks (split into 2 sections each for small and large...so 4 dog parks) really helped keep our dogs entertained. Great rotation of food trucks and activities for kids. 100% recommended for a RV Resort stay.

    Summit Vacation Resort

    Great for dog owners

Good sized shady fenced in dog park in the back with a picnic table. Rv campers have full access to the Summit compound which includes tubing shuttle, pool, tennis, putt putt golf, so on so forth. Quiet place to unwind and go float the river. We've stayed in a house ( #12) here also and it was amazing, the rv side was no exception.

    Stone Creek RV Park

    Best price around the area

Got there on a Sunday and there is a gun range close, you can hear the shooting but stop before night. nice jacuzzi and swimming pool. Very nice large and small dog parks. Sites are not well level but most of them have a gazebo. Just make a one night stop for rest and I will stay there again, close to walmart, gas stations and restaurants.

    Travelers World RV Resort

    Top notch RV resort.

It is almost exactly what you’d expect and want. A pricey place to stay, but very close to downtown San Antonio with all the amenities and services you would expect to find and a high end RV resort. Laundry, a dog park, free WiFi, large paved roads and well spaced sites. Showers were in great shape and staff were incredibly friendly. If you have the cash and want to be close to downtown, this is the place!

Neighborhood context: Some campgrounds sit in transitional areas. A Mission City RV Park visitor observed, "When you first roll up I felt a bit skeptical. Water pressure considerations: Pressure regulators may be necessary at some parks. A visitor to Mission City RV Park mentioned, "High water pressure; you'll need a pressure regulator. They sell them at the office!"

Tree clearance: Some parks have low-hanging branches that can pose challenges. According to one camper at Braunig Lake Park, "If you have a large or tall rig RV don't even bother. The trees are the main issue. We have an airstream and even it was starting to scrape getting to and from a site."
