Great weekend getaway

First time out with the new rv. Easy pull through. Great folks that run the site just don’t park on the grass lol. You really don’t want to park on the grass anywhere. Had a great time and plan to return in the summer when the water isn’t cold.

Excellent view of the River

This was our first time camping here. Check in staff were very friendly and helpful. Restrooms were in excellent condition and clean. WiFi was awesome. You have to take a short walk from your camp site to the River, but the River view and access was awesome. Pool was very clean. The overall campground was good. The only downside I found was the guest that seem to camp there permanently. All of there possessions piled up around there RV make you feel a bit like you are in a trailer park rather than an RV park. Once we got past that we had a great time. We will definitely go back.

Good park, no easy river access

Great for water, electric connections. The park is just a mix of tourists and regular tenants. Kinda junkyard feel at first. They do have friendly check in staff as well as tiny hut at checkin that is a makeshift store aswell. The bathrooms have potential but were not cleaned or stocked with any toilet paper or handsoap all of Memorial Day weekend ( again it was a very busy holiday) The sites were confusing as stated back in but connections were on opposite side of our pop up camper making stretching hoses a hassle. My boost phone and internet worked perfectly There is no safe river access. You must hike down to river but soo worth it when u make it down. Overall if u can get past random eye sores and no walk in river access this will do fine for a weekend getaway. Highly recommend site 34! It was on paved surface and standalone. It is closest to river access of some type and also right infront of bathrooms

Great river access

My sister in law made these reservations and I was a little bit skeptical because of the “parking lot” pics online. I was nervous that it would feel like a huge parking lot. But, I was Pleasantly surprised! They allowed us pull thru spots side by side so we had green space between us and our doors opened towards each other. We were able to have a campfire as long as we had a tight fitting lid. The best part was the river access. It was beautiful! The river access is Overlooking a canyon wall, with ducks and deer roaming and a huge yard of grass all the way down to the waters edge. White lights illuminate it at night. The water was slow moving so we paddle boarded upstream about a mile. We had the river almost to ourselves in mid September. I enjoyed the large boulders down near the river area. Perfect spot to sit with my coffee in the morning. It was GREAT. They do have cabins to rent and also a small building that was hosting a family reunion.

Fall favorite!

We love this place! One great part is that the pads alternate directions, so you can camp with your friends (or with new friends) instead of with their sewer connections. They also have rules about flags so you really can get away from the pace of the world. Between the trees and the small fall crowd, it was soooo quiet. Everyone seemed to sleep in just a little. Those three tings make the whole place quite nice. The riverfront is great for lounging in the shade, and the cliff side of the river is gorgeous for staring off into space. They also have a nice pool, a clubhouse, some cabins, and more.

Fun Park on Guadalupe

Great park. Easy pull through sites with very nice grounds. Swimming pool and 1/4 mile river access. Shallow river area for all ages.
