KL Ranch Camp Cliffside

Short 2 night stay, kids had fun. Staff were friendly. If you’re not familiar with the setup Cliffside is across the road from the river. Riverside is on the riverside. They’re 2 separate entities

Beautiful views of the Guadalupe River, clean and safe property, direct access to the river, and an easy drive to historic Downtown Greune. It takes a bit to get used to the road noise, but it's not too bad.

Easy access in and out of the campsite! Staff is always present monitoring front desk and campsite. If you want quiet look elsewhere, right on river road and motorcycle ride up and down! I enjoyed watching all the motorcycles while I ate breakfast and dinner. I rode my motorcycle during the afternoons and then took a dip in the river to cool off for dinner. Will be back for sure!

This place is so much fun and so beautiful. We camped in tents in what were some amazing spots. The campground was clean and well kept. Staff were especially kind.

We had an amazing stay at KL Ranch Camp Cliffside. The staff was extremely helpful l, even notice them assisting the RV next to us with their AC issues. Very well maintained and we had an amazing view of the Guadalupe River. Access to the river was across the street. Only wish they would enforce their quiet hours we had really noisy neighbors next us. Wish they had an RV pad because there was a lot of mud around us.

We loved that the campsites were riverfront, but didnt care for the noisy neighbors. There’s a sign at the entrance saying quiet time is until 7am, but blasting music at 7:05 isn’t very nice when you see only one of us is up drinking coffee (2 tents / 6 people). We packed up and moved to another site the first morning - a lot of work but worth it. Overall we’d stay here again. Its beautiful.

This camp ground is conviently located right by the river. We stayed at campsite #25. We did learn that other camp sites are shaded better by the trees but we managed. The management was very friendly and helpful. They offer a taxi service up the river so that you can float back down and end right back at the camp. $16 for bottomless tube, &17 dollars w/ a bottome, and $16 for a tube/ice chest for drinks. (Absolutely no glass on the river and there are check points!) Floating times range from 1-5 hours depending on how long you want to float. Showers onsite operated by a quarter machine. Local camp store has suvinoirs, ice, beer, and other miscellaneous things. All in all we had a lot of fun I would recommend this campground to anyone and we would definitely go here again.
