Four Seasons Family Campground

Lake In Wood Camping Resort is “home to the gnomes” because it is a friendly place, built to suit the lifestyles of today’s campers (even the knee-high ones). From a weekend in your tent to a beautiful cabin rental, this resort becomes a treasured “Home Away from Home!”

The resort features a magnificent entertainment hall with a beautifully restored pipe organ for hosting grand parties and resort gatherings. Other pavilions are available for smaller groups (the Gnome Bridge Club are regulars). Adults can enjoy the picturesque views and intimate setting of the lake-view terrace.

The campground is open Friday and Saturday nights only. Two camping units are permitted at each site, one unit must be a tent. Sleeping in personal vehicles is not permitted.

Timberlane Campground

The newly-renovated campground offers sites with three-point hookups (water, electric and sewer), as well as four horse campsites without hookups. If you prefer a bed to a bedroll, stay in one of our yurts! These round stationary structures with canvas walls feature a single and double bed bunked together, a double bed-sized futon, an outdoor seating area, and outdoor deck.

Campgrounds at Cape Henlopen, Killens Pond, Lums Pond and Trap Pond State Park are open year-round. The Cottages at Indian River Marina are also open year-round, and the campground at Delaware Seashore State Park is open year-round, although during the winter months, it is open for self-contained units only.

The Division of Parks and Recreation has a Central Reservation Service. Although reservations are not required, we strongly recommend that you make one to ensure that accommodations are available. There is no additional expense to make a reservation.

Reservations can be placed for campgrounds, cabins, yurts, the Cottages at Indian River Marina, and Fort Delaware tours, and Killen's Pond Waterpark..

Lums Pond State Park

The Loose Caboose Campground is a 26-acre campground located in beautiful Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. We are a Second-Generation, Veteran, Family Owned and Operated Campground in the heart of PA Amish Country. Proudly serving Overnight and Weekly Campers for over 35 years. The campground is well-known for its large, secluded wooded sites, yet has the distinction of being located just minutes away from many popular tourist destinations (See “Nearby Attractions”) and special area events (i.e. [Day out with Thomas the Tank Engine](<https://www.strasburgrailroad.com/ride/events/day-out-with-thomas/>), [Annual Rough and Tumble Thresherman’s Reunion](<https://roughandtumble.org/>), Bird-in-Hand Community Days, etc.). We are surrounded by gorgeous Amish farmlands and also offer an excellent view of the passing Amish Buggies and the Amtrak/Norfolk Southern mainline. For this exact reason, part of the campground property was actually used in shooting some of the opening scenes of the 1985 Movie “[Witness](<https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0090329/>)” starring Harrison Ford and Kelly McGillis. We are proud to be members of the Pennsylvania Campground Owners Association (PCOA), the National Association of RV Parks and Campgrounds (ARVC), Discover Lancaster and Chester County Conference & Visitors Bureau. We have just over 70 beautiful sites, the majority of which offer full hookup utilities. Many of our sites are even open all year round. We are able to accommodate most campers’ needs - having spaces available for everything ranging in size from smaller primitive tent campsites to the largest Big Rigs and Park Model vacation homes. Our heated Bathhouse offers free hot showers and is open to patrons all year round. Limited on-site services (available upon request) include: minor RV repair and troubleshooting, trailer leveling and blocking, winterization and local trailer transport. We are also a children and pet friendly campground. Please contact us directly to inquire about our Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts camping programs for your local Den/Troop activity needs. Our mission is to make your stay here as enjoyable and peaceful as possible. There is so much to see and do in this famous tourist area that you will never be bored. Even if your goal is just to sit around the campfire and have a nice, relaxing, break from the world, we can offer that as well. We would be happy to recommend local area restaurants, activities and attractions for you to visit during your stay with us. We look forward to assisting you in making the most of your visit to this extremely popular vacation destination. We are currently working very hard to renovate and update the campground. Our goal is to make it one of the premier Camping destinations in southeastern Pennsylvania.



The Loose Caboose Campground

DEEP CREEK CAMPGROUND
The campground’s are open from April 1 through November 1.
The location is near the Park’s Main Office area at 2144 Snyder Road, Green Lane, PA 18054.
Each site is equipped with a fire ring, grill and picnic table. 
No electric, no water hookup, and no RV dump station.
Maximum RV length 25 ft. 
There is a bath house at Deep Creek Campground with showers and restrooms.
Non-Profit Organized Group Camp Area: For use by non-profit groups and by reservation only.
Please bring your own drinking water.
Dog friendly campground. Please keep dogs on leashes and clean up after your dog.
