Stayed here 2 nights in May, Friday-Sunday. There were a decent amount of people on Friday, but significantly more on Saturday. Park employees and park police drive around through the day. Some big groups of campers got a little rowdy at night. The bathrooms were absolutely disgusting. I thought…
On the app it lists RV and tent camping. Contact at office they only have cabins. Please correct this!
Three years ago, we fell in love with this campground. We knew we had to find an rv and become seasonals. Fast forward, we bought one, went to talk to them... They only allow seasonal campers to be 10 years old or newer. Ours is 13. Very disappointed. But for a weekend away, it's a great place. A…
This was part two of our shakedown cruise for our new RV. We stayed just for one night, but wish we could have stayed longer.
The park was easy to find and located a short distance from the highway. We were met at the entry gate with a personalized folder containing lots of helpful…

Overall I think this campground has a lot to offer if you have a family and are looking to provide them with activities. Fishing in the pond insite, swimming in the pool and lots of family weekends throughout the season.
However, for whatever reason the sites are all covered in stone, and I…
Campground is clean and orderly. From what I’ve seen staying twice in April, the owner drives around to check on things. My kids had a lot of fun and made a lot of friends. They had a great trip. Campground is also
not overly huge.
Inaugural trip with travel trailer. Pull-Thru site will all hookups in good working order. Site felt spacious with a nice grass strip. Bath house was immaculate.
Great disc golf course
We spent one night here last week on our way to NYC. Staff was great. Sites were nicely spread out. Full hook ups.
This was the first KOA we visited and I can't begin to say enough wonderful things about the whole campground.
The sites, particularly those on the Brandywine River, have amazing views. They are close enough for you to camp with a group, but most also have a small fence between each site to…

This was our first time here and it’s only an hour from home. I was hopeful for another nice DE state park and I wasn’t disappointed. All DE parks are nicely laid out. There were shaded spots and sunny spots. Bathhouse was clean. The camp loop is a nice walk but there are also trails. They were…

Beautiful and quaint..a nice place to get away and enjoy some nature.
Nice campground with a creek that runs along the backside of the campground! Even though the amusement park wasn’t open yet, kids still had a good time! The grounds are clean and there’s also a small playground and basketball court!
Our GPS wanted to take us to the main park entrance on Howell School Rd versus Red Lion Rd to the campground entrance on the other side of the pond. The gate and store were not open so we went directly to back-in site 26 with FHUs. Our reservation sheet and vehicle pass were on the post when we…

The cabins are full electric with heat and are well appointed. It was an excellent fall trip location for a family with young children. I said there was a sense of deja vu because the cabin, even it's placement relative to the lake was near identical to the cabin we had at Hills Creek State Park…
