Well Managed Campground

This is a large campground, mostly populated by big rigs, and mostly long term stays. Looked like a lot of people were working in the area. Almost all of the RV's there are very nice - no long term stay hoarder scenes. The roads are paved, majority of sites are pull through, photos on Dyrt are…

Nice, well maintained, on the river!

We had a great time staying at River Bend! This was our first trip here and won’t be our last, we’ve already made reservations for next year.

The sites were maintained very well and the camp hosts were very friendly. In addition to the paved driveway for our trailer, there always a nice, large…

Great place to boondock. Large sites in a private campground. A bit difficult to access as two signs give conflicting information. One must call to reserve but another sign says welcome to all...covered picnic tables, outhouses, large sites close to Alsea River under old Doug Fir. Shady and quiet.…

Clean, state campground

The campground is a circle with campsites that are shaded, fairly open, with grass in the center. It is well kept but rather boring in itself. It does well to provide a quiet place out of the sun next to the Alsea River. Some wading pools but fairly nondescript. However, 1.5 miles south is a…

Very nice.

Small but will laid out campground under the trees, each camp site has a log fence enclosure. No sites are next to the river but there's hiking trails and a walk to Alsea Falls. Mountain bike trails close by. Another park that had fallen to Reservation Only, but we camped between reserved dates.…

Good county park

This is a well run county park. Women at the office were friendly and helpful. Campground was full while we were there but reasonably quiet. We were in a site along the highway which I would avoid due to significant road noise but we were lucky to get a spot. The sites in the loop where the office…

This is a nudist community and campground

They have a hot tub, heated pool, lodge, rv hook ups, tent spaces, and rental cabins. Very nice.

Beautiful place

Beautiful place right next to the lake! Wasn’t a fan of how open the sites are and the noise from the highway. We were tent camping however so your mileage may vary with a camper/trailer set up.

No Privacy or Water in Reservoir

Campground is not too bad if you don’t mind the lack of privacy. Most of the sites are out in the open with no shade or trees around. We camped the first weekend of September and the reservoir was empty. We were really disappointed since we chose this campground so we could fish and swim. Our…

Right off of Hwy 20 is a huge parking lot to stay for free in while you hike in this area May-Oct.

Nov 1- Apr 30th you’ll need a permit to park here while you partake in various snow related activities.

Pit toilets available in the parking lot as well as a trash can. Lot is paved and…

Quite and Clean

Cove Creek Campground has nice facilities that are well maintained. The campground has its own boat launch and large sites. I would have given it five stars but the accuracy of lengths of the sites was way off. Out site was only listed for a 24’ trailer but we fit our 31’ trailer and suburban.…

Beautiful location next to Silver Falls

Gorgeous hikes all around. My wife and I did the maple trail. Campsites were completely full end of August and very close to together. Good facilities on site.
