City Park / Campground

This is one of those interesting RV parks/ campgrounds that’s attached to a city park and to boat ramps/ fishing, so you have a lot of day use activity going on, which can be nice or not, depending on what you’re looking for.

We just needed a place to stay on our way to Portland, so this was a good place for us for the night. At $50/night it felt too pricey but that’s the norm. The sites are mostly pull through, some back in sites along the back, and come with E/W hookups. There’s a dump station at the entrance that’s $10 (pay with credit card), but it’s supposed to be free if you’re camping here. It looks like they’re working on some waterfront sites that’re going to be $60/night. If you’re a resident of a certain portion of the city it’s $30/night. It looked like there were some down on their luck people staying here, as well as regular travelers just enjoying life. There is a host on site.

Right in town, right on the river

Simple RV park with access to everything. The river is right there, bike trails, grass area, walk to town, everything. Prices are great in an area that doesn’t have a ton of choices for RV’s (Oregon City).

Great for a quick stop over

Just a gravel parking lot with hookups. But conveniently located right off of 205 and close to a lot of amenities in the suburbs of Portland. Dog friendly too as there is a park with walking paths. I am sure kid friendly too. View of Williamette and Clackamas rivers are scenic. Park had some that appeared to be living there in their campers but was quiet.

Nice but a bit noisy

We were welcomed warmly in the pouring rain and found a place with electricity and water for $25. The nearby motorways can still be heard humming at night.

Nice, but muddy

Our visit was just one overnight. It was very quiet and close to the river. Sites were muddy, although there had been a rain storm before hand. It truly needs some stone put down though!

Easy breezy

Barely made it in. Was worried the gate would be open with only 4 minutes to spare. It was!! Awesome host. Easy check in. Right smack dab on the river.

Best spot in PDX

The confluence of the Clackamas and Willamette river's, this is a great spot with most amenities, still inside Portland metro, right off 205 but incredibly serene nonetheless. RV hookups, boat launch, great fishing.

Beautiful River Spot in the City

Right off the exit of 205, it's very easy to get to, and a beautiful spot where the Clackamas flows into the Willamette. There's gas and dining within walking distance, multiple boat launches, nearby rentals, and lots of wildlife. Great community as well. However, may not be open for RVs and camping due to Covid.

Good

If you want to stay near the big city this would be a good RV camp area with a big park near by.

RV-Only Camp Site on the River.

RV only campsite near Oregon City. Campsite is right at the confluence of the Willamette and Clackamas Rivers. Self-contained RV sites very close to the water with bathroom facilities available in the daytime. Site is popular with ample fishing from the shoreline and you're only minutes away from downtown Portland.

Dirt Parking Lot Near Portland on River

The site for RVs is basically a big ugly parking lot, just off a busy street and near a McDonalds. The river and park around it, however, where the Willamette and Clackamas Rivers meet, is pretty cool. Great for looking for rocks. Went back a second time in the summer and was better than in winter.

Tents are not allowed here since all units must be "self contained." RV sites closer to the river/front row cost more ($25 vs $20). This is one of the closest RV sites to Portland, and not too expensive for a full RV site, so if you're looking for a spot to sleep near Portland and have an RV, this place wouldn't be too bad.
