Stayed on a lot right off the river with a steep little foot path to the rivers edge. Very beautiful and serene to see and listen to but the trade off is NO cell service what so ever.

Beautiful Spot, Right on River

My friend & I rode north from Eureka to explore Bear Camp Rd. After a beautiful ride up the coast, we turned inland to find heat & Agness. We first looked for Illahe (closed) then found this. Great spot, excellent shade, and nice restroom. Lots of cars in the adjacent parking lot (people…

Very well maintained, leashed dog friendly, camp grounds right on bay with 360° views. Air streams & small cabins have everything you need for a getaway including wood for the fire pit. Convenience stores close by plus the resort has a general store with anything you could need. Site staff very…

Umpqua Lighthouse Campground

Gorgeous. Well maintained campground. Close to beach. Popular site for families. Yurts get snatched up months in advance! They all have a magnificent view of the lake.

Clean and Green

We were able to make a reservation the night of which is nice.

The areas were all very well kept. The walking trails were a beautiful hike in the morning.

Bathrooms had running water and were very clean.

Would definitely recommend and camp here again.

Nice spot near the beach

Flat paved sites. Can get crowded during peak season as sites are fairly close to each other. Convenience store and Walmart nearby.

Beautiful county park with awesome hosts

We just had to escape the crazy busy Oregon Coast so we drove inland to this county park along the North Fork of the Coquille River. There are modern flush toilets and vault toilets. Our campsite was between two waterfalls including Laverne Falls. We had a view of the smaller one from our creek…

Beautiful ocean view

Most sites are paved and flat. Has a fire pit and picnic table. Full hookups. I can see this place being very busy in peak season.

Beautiful settnig

Very nice park, close to Rogue River so lot's of fisherman.  Very friendly staff.  Store and Restaurant right there.  Only AT&T cellphones have signal there and WIFI only works close to office.

Great campground for dune access

Camped here in August 2020. Right at the edge of the dunes. They really pack the campers in tight here so if you like extra space this isn’t for you. Also there are people riding just behind the camp late into the night so may be hard to sleep for light sleepers.

Meticulously Cared For

This is one of the cleanest campgrounds we’ve been in. The grounds are manicured and cleaned constantly by the hosts. Hosts were pleasant.

This campground offers full hook up or dry camping and they also have yurts and a couple cabins. The road and sites are paved with large grassy and dirt…

Great place to camp

Great amenities nice clean bathrooms and showers. 3 minute walk to a huge beach. The roar of waves was great to sleep to. Also has crab pots you can borrow and a place to clean and cook the crabs.

Busy but Quiet

We showed up on a Friday late morning and were able to snag the last available spot.  This place gets busy on weekends, while maintaining a mellow and quiet vibe.  We enjoyed our stay here, even though we had to move on the next day because there were no available sites for Saturday.  If you don't…
