Vagrant Park

The best thing about this park was that it has green grass but that’s about it. The park is like a nomadic homeless shelter. We were literally watching a guy on a bike with a trash bag and a golf club just park his bike and randomly tee off in all directions. We have never felt like we could leave to explore the town of Coquille because you just never know who is going to be invading your private space. Oh and the ports potties are disgusting and not maintained at all. It is a hazmat nightmare but at least there is an actual restroom just down the road. We would not recommend this park. It costs $10 per day and you can basically park anywhere and that’s not a good thing.

Peaceful

There's a box for registration and payment on the road in. Lots of trees to park under/near. Some picnic tables & some fire pits. The river runs beside the park. Occasionally a train runs nearby but otherwise very quiet. Grocery store with water refill station, bottle/can redemption close by. There's also a Laundromat just up the road with good machines.

Weird place

There are no "spots". You seem to park wherever you feel like parking. Strange inhabitants.

Nice relaxed dry campground that's excellent value.

If you've had enough of RV sites where you're 10' away from your neighbours and have self contained power and water this is a find!

Large park with toilet block (no showers) and 4 dispersed and well maintained porta-pottys. No specific pitches, just go where you feel like. If you're in transit this ticks the boxes.

$10 for a nice grassy tent spot

We got in late and were able to drop off $10 into a pay box, the camp host found us and chatted for a bit. He was friendly. There’s plenty of room for a saturday night on July 4th weekend.

Town park

Big park with lots of space to park. Many on grass pull up campsites. Fishing. Boat ramp. Porta Potties. Picnic tables. Fortress with a slide! Very kind camp host. Clean though there are train tracks with occasional sounds of heavy machinery at night. Great place to stop off the road mostly quiet at night. Good people in the area.

old small town park to camp

I said it . definitely worth to stop here if you have a big rv or just a tent. $10 a night. By a river . next to a railroad . you can still hear the highway but mostly at night hear construction equipment from a nearby quarry. Other then that its a nice damp meadow safe away from the fires. Currently waved the $10 for a safe place away from the fires.
