Nice campground with views and services.

Staying in one of the furnished cabins. Great RV and Airstream trailer sites as well. Full hookups. Marginal WiFi available. Use my phone most of the time because poor WiFi. Cabins are fairly new but mine had some needed repairs already

Wonderful Glamping spot

Camping on the beach can indeed be a hit or miss experience, but Bay Point Landing has managed to create a little slice of outdoor luxury. With its thoughtful layout and comprehensive amenities, it's a far cry from the all-too-common parking lot scenario. The indoor facilities cater to both children and adults, ensuring that everyone has something to enjoy, rain or shine. Indoor amenities included a cash less laundry mat, indoor lap pool, exercise room, Kids den, a game room and another area for adults where happy hour was held including a local musician. The outdoor amenities seem just as considerate, including a playground for the kids, a bowling green and a dog wash with soap provided. The restrooms were clean and the shower where private rooms included the shower, sink and a toilet. Some sites are right next to the bay which did have a sewer smell once a day for about 30 minutes. Not sure if it was when the tide came in or out. We were in site 37 and had good internet access. Be careful following GPS instructions. Both RV Life and google sent us in the wrong direction off the 101. Follow the instructions provided by Bay Point Landing.

Amenity Rich

This resort has clean bathrooms with showers, laundry, a heated indoor pool, and other well maintained amenities. The sites are a good size with full hook ups, picnic tables, fire pits, and green space. I was also pleasantly surprised that the Wi-Fi in our site was a decent speed.

This place will probably be so charming once the landscaping and trees have a chance to grow up a little bit. In its current state, it does feel a bit barren and the modern, trendy buildings feel a little sterile.

I would give 6 stars - true resort living.

We have been camping in a pickup truck camper during a cross-country trip but we opted to splurge and booked 2 nights in an Airstream at Bay Point.  It was SO worth it!  The Airstreams are very new and IMPECCABLY clean.  Ok, the entire facility is new and impeccably clean but wow are these trailers nice.  We had to look in all of the cabinets, but everything that we needed was there: dishes, pots, etc.  They even add some niceties that we didn't expect: a few laundry soap pods, a fire starter block along with the complementary firewood, a hair dryer, etc.

I heard the person at the front desk mention that they had a dog washing area with complimentary shampoo... that's the level of detail they have considered.

Now, there isn't a lot to do in Coos Bay, so I wouldn't stay here a week, but a few days of R&R would be good for anyone.  Loved it.

Luxury camping with concierge wine delivery

So much to do in this area! Great location with beach access. Newer campground, nice big sites but trees are small. Really nice firepits and they will deliver firewood to your site. (They will deliver anything from the camp store including ice cream and wine) Nicest shower house and laundry room EVER. Check in feels like a fancy hotel. Con: very windy!

Very Nice Campground and Resort

Arrived with no issues as our GPS took us right to the campground. Check in was a breeze and we proceeded to back-in, bay front site 16. Backing in was easy as there is plenty of road width to maneuver. The bay front sites are larger than the interior sites and better spaced than similar sized resorts, but I wouldn’t call them spacious like you can find at state parks or COEs. The park was pretty much full everyday during our stay so WiFi was stressed and spotty during morning and late afternoon timeframes. We got 3 bars on Verizon, but sometimes we did not get internet through our MiFi and phone hotspots. The laundry facilities were very nice with credit card payment versus quarters. The staff was very helpful and there are plenty of resort amenities like a gym and pool, which we didn’t use. Great views of the bay to include occasional large vessels passing by. It was nice to be able to let our pups off leash on the beach. At the time we stayed in late July the bay often had a bad sulfur smell. Check out Vinny’s Smokin’ Good Burgers and Sandwiches in North Bend, OR. Really good food, especially their burgers. They also serve breakfast. Quaint little place with a few tables indoors and a couple more outdoors. There is plenty to do and see in the area. We enjoyed our two weeks at Bay Point Landing but due to location and cost this was a one time stay.

Resort style - contemporary chich campground

This was my favorite campground. The location was great and the amenities were superb. You can tell the developers put money into the property and thought through about the experience - whether you are just camping and having fun or whether you have to work from the road. They offered great wi-fi and office spaces to be used when needed. They have an indoor heated pool, a gym and many bathrooms throughout their property. I believe all sites are full hook up. We Stayed there for 4 weeks as we were traveling through the beautiful Oregon coast with our travel trailer and our pets. We had 3 different sites and it is because we wanted a water front spot for a few days then decided to extend our stay as we liked the campground so much and we could easily go up or down the coast as planned. All of our sites were great and the staff is so friendly and as accommodating as they can be. Their store has great items, they are well branded and they even bring you ice and fire wood if you buy is from them-you can just text them - easy user experience! All of the bathrooms and laundry rooms were well maintained and clean. We were there in July, during the pandemic and things were pretty calm and people were keeping a distance and respecting the guidelines. You don’t have a trailer? No problem, they have a few tiny houses which look amazing and they also have air streams people can rent. It can get super windy at times - there were a few nights I thought our T@b was going to fly away and we were going to look like the cow in twister LOL but thankfully it didn’t! We watched beautiful sunsets from our trailer and walked by the water in the morning and around sunset. Bay Point Landing is a great property and well located. Great drive to a few parks close by. If you are staying there for a few days, go to see the dunes and check out the beaches; it is super pretty. We also made it all the way up to Cape Kwanda, and it was one of our favorite places. The hike to the top of the dune is worth it and the view is breathtaking. If you are going with kids, be careful because there are not a lot of barriers at the top, which we thought it was a bit odd. It is an easy drive to Depoe Bay (north of Coos Bay) where you can see resident whales often. We also went al the way down to Brookings, on the border with California. Beautiful beaches along the way so don’t go in a hurry, take your time and enjoy the beautiful view. We will absolutely be back. We loved this campground!

Modern Glamping

Can’t say enough good things about Bay Point. Modern, clean, well designed cabins + airstream rentals, amazing amenities, bay/ beach/ water facing. This is the future of RVing. The only negative is they take themselves a little too serious. There’s a “no trailers older than 10 years rule”. Our renovated Vintage ‘64 Airstream needed a pre- approval.

Beautiful!

Hands down one of the best RV parks we’ve stayed in. From the huge clean bathrooms to the saltwater pool, the pavilion, the office, the rental airstreams, and even the fire pits are amazing! We are going back for sure. Didn’t want to leave. Plenty to see and do even during Covid! All the sites are great. The bay front sites are preferred for the view. The cabins are unreal. They really took the Standard RV park up a whole bunch of notches. If you’re into rustic campgrounds, this isn’t the place for you. If you like modern architecture and clean camping, then book a visit.

Great setting, spacious, upscale

I'm new to RVing but Bay Point Landing is the nicest park I've experienced, and was clearly designed to be serveral cuts above the usual park. First off, the sites are spacious and equipped with FHU, a fire pit, and a picnic table. The pads are gravel and are nicely maintained. We paid extra to have one of the waterfront sites (#4) and it was well worth the extra $ - we had a full-on view of the bay, and our own very short trail from the site, through the shrubs to the beach. Perfect for dogs! It was so nice to watch the tide rise and fall and see the wildlife including herons and egrets. The buildings that house the office, store, baths, laundries, pool, and workout room have modern styling and are very upscale.

We loved our stay here! The facilities are great they have a nice indoor pool, gym, multiple laundry buildings, and plenty of nice shower rooms. But most of all the location is fantastic - it was great to be right on the beach. It definitely gets cold with the wind coming in off the water so make sure you pack some warm clothes.

Modern and Beautiful

This is clearly the best place to stay in Coos Bay and probably in a 300 mile radius. We loved the modern feel of the sites and the buildings. Everything was new and well maintained. The sunsets over the water were incredible. We were there for 4th of July and could see fireworks from every direction. Plenty of space between sites and cool built in fire pits. Bay Point Landing is a little pricey but definitely worth it for what you get. We will return!

They’ve thought of everything

Definitely a glamping experience that you pay for, but they have included all the bells and whistles. Pool, weight room, great lounge areas, but since it’s Covid time, we were a bit reluctant to use all the facilities. Management is top notch, especially the gentleman driving the cart delivering wood and checking the sites. And the WIFI worked great, that’s a big bonus. We stayed 5 nights, the first two were windy as heck which made it difficult to even leave the RV, but very nice cool days after that.

Luxury Glamping

We spent four nights in October at Bay Point Landing. We highly recommend this spot. Everything is clean, well kept, and beautifully designed. The kids loved the salt water pool. The adults loved the beautiful view, the coffee in the clubhouse, and the workout room. We brought our own RV, but we peeked in the little cabins and airstreams and were very impressed.

Coos Bay is a small area where everything is fairly close driving distance. We drove by many of the other RV camping options in the area, and this one was by far the best. Off season rates were very reasonable for all the amenities.
