Small town vibe

Helpful and friendly staff, harbor vibe with faint fog horns through the night. Perfect for a night.
Our site did not have a picnic table, it was raining so it was ok for us. Clean bathrooms.

Clean, helpful and pleasant management

This campground has a number of spacious sites. Make sure you ask for one in the back. G3 and G4 are spacious and quiet. The only reason this got four stars instead of five is the incredible wind that comes off the ocean almost every day. Not unusual to have it 20 miles per hour gusting to 35 or 40. I got here in April and I almost left after a few weeks. I decided to stick it out since I had the site booked till June. May calmed down somewhat. In short it's a very nice campground just be aware of that doggone wind!

Good for what it is

I, myself, prefer not to "camp" on concrete, but people aren't camping here for a remote camping experience. They're here for the ocean, beach, agates, driftwood and other beach finds. Great fishing, very good restaurants to fit any budget. Loved the town and it's inhabitants. Overall excellent place to visit. I'll definitely return

The worst place ever!

Had reserved a spot and ended up coming late on the first night because of a flat tire. Paid for that night and the one after had decided to just stay while house hunting in the area and had arranged to pay for night 3 online with the people who said they were onsite management moments after my boyfriend had walked away from talking to them to go to jetty to fish an older lady beats on the door of our travel trailer screaming at myself that we needed to leave “Right now” or she was having me arrested. I had been in the shower when this started so I was trying to get dressed as fast as possible and told her that I was sorry for whatever had caused such a rash decision and was told my money was not accepted there and that she wanted the “trash” out of her park. I.E. me that we were not welcome there. Still no explanation as to why..... the price they charge online is 12 dollars higher then the sign posted at the property and all adds given on any of the websites make it seem like a great place to stay. Yet it was a dirt parking lot next to the airport. Laundry was locked up the entire time WiFi doesn’t work no picnic table in site like advertised and that woman will pass judgement and lock you out without a moments notice. Don’t waste your money it’s not worth it and the deplorable way I was treated and spoken to with no reason. Absolutely worst customer service I have encountered...

Close to beach and very quiet.

Very short walk to beach or jetty. Borders small airport where you can watch planes land or take off, but we only saw one over 2 days. Very quiet. Only complaint is internet is down most the time.

Beach Camping!

I love coming to this campground on my trips north from CA. You always feel like you’re in the wild camping on the beach and yet civilization is so close 🤗. They have tent sites on the beach with tables, RV sites, campers, cottages to rent. Laundry facilities is you need them and a cute camp store if you forgot something.

I love this place for the tent camping on the beach. The sites off the beach are great but I couldn’t stay here and not stay on the beach.

Awesome Tent 🏕 Camping!

This is mostly an RV Park and cabin rentals but there are 4 tent spots right on the beach that are phenomenal. You feel like you have your own place on the beach. You do have to walk your stuff there but it’s totally worth it. The first night was great but the second night was a torrential downpour that woke us up. Definitely hit or miss with rain but absolutely a great find. They have large family yurts and cabins to get away from the rain but these tent sites are my favorite!
