Bandon-Port Orford KOA

With 200 sites accommodating RVs up to 50 feet and full hookups available, Bandon-Port Orford KOA operates seasonally from January through November in Langlois. The campground features both RV sites and tent areas spread across a wooded setting with tall, moss-covered trees characteristic of the Oregon coast region.

Campers consistently note the cleanliness of facilities, including bathrooms, showers, and a dishwashing station behind the main building. The property includes a pool and hot tub that reviews indicate stay well-maintained throughout the season. Small fencing between tent sites creates privacy barriers, though some reviewers mention the tent areas can feel compact. RV sites present some challenges, with hookups positioned in the center of sites and uneven ground on certain spots that can complicate leveling.

Brianna D. found "employees were super friendly and the campground was wooded." The facility offers amenities like a camp store, laundry, and a common area with pool table and jukebox. Staff delivers firewood bundles for $10 to individual sites. An afternoon snack stand serves items like corn dogs and funnel cake during peak times.

The location provides access to coastal recreation within a short drive, including Blacklock Point hiking and Floras Lake kayaking. For different camping experiences, Cape Blanco State Park Campground offers oceanfront sites with a more rugged state park atmosphere.

Guests commonly noted the beautiful wooded setting, clean facilities, and friendly staff as standout features. Some RV campers reported leveling challenges due to uneven sites, but most found the campground well-maintained and family-friendly.

Great place with just a few imperfections

The campsites are all surrounded by trees which is beautiful. There are cabins, tent sites and full hookup RV sites. The pool and hot spa pool are well maintained. They have an afternoon snack stand with corn dogs, funnel cake and more. Close to lots of beaches and trails.

Only reasons I don’t give 5 stars is -

  1. the RV sites have connections in center of site which is difficult for hoses and cords.

  2. Some RV sites are very uneven and sloped making it hard to be level.

  3. Campground Wi-Fi speed is very minimal.

Very cozy experience.

First time staying at a KOA and we were pleasantly surprised. Employees were super friendly and the campground was wooded and beautiful. Tent site was a little small, but small fences have been installed to create privacy between campers and the size didn’t bother us. Site had a picnic table and fire pit. Pool, hot tub, kart rentals for kids… our daughter loved it. Clean bathrooms and showers and even a dishwashing station behind the main building. Firewood sold for $10/bundle and they deliver it to your site for you. Pet friendly. Loved it!

Clean and easy

Great place to stop. Bathrooms were very clean and the shade from all the trees was a nice break from the heat.

Hot tub!!!

I stayed here with family in tent sites in early June. The only other KOA I’ve done is Waldport and this is so much more woodsy and private, we really had a nice time. Staff is very friendly and mellow, hot tub and pool were clean and open, and it was quiet despite plenty of other campers. There is a campground cat named Spike but he did pee on another families’ tent. Nothing really to explore outdoors right from the camp, but we did hike Blacklock Point and kayak Floras Lake, and both of those things are only a seven minute drive away. No complaints and I would come back. :)

Another good KOA

Plenty of tent/RV sites as per KOA fashion. They offer deluxe tent sites with water/electric. Fairly cheap for Tenters like myself. The campground itself is nice with tall mossy trees characteristic of the area. Pool and hot tub are also available for guests. Camp store is well stocked. They offer breakfast for $8 Sat and Sunday. Camp store also sells icecream. Laundry and showers are clean and the common area has a pool table and Jukebox. Port Orford is down the road for most any need.
