About

Enjoy a clean, secure, and quiet RV park with a warm glow of café lights in the trees. The b.side motel+rv is a micro-park providing eight full hook-up spaces with 30AMP electric, water and sewer connections, free Wi-Fi for streaming, sans cable. Due to our beautiful trees we cannot guarantee your satellite will work. We don’t want to disappoint you so If camping is all about your satellite TV, we recommend another park.

The RV park was designed between tall Cypress, Douglas Fir, and Spruce trees and is shaped like a horseshoe that wraps around behind the motel. The parking pad and adjacent area is compacted rock. Spaces 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7 have small grass/woodchip yards with picnic tables. Space 1 and 8 do not have yards, but do have tables. All spaces are back in and for larger travel trailers and 5th wheels parking for your tow rig gets a little tight. Guests have access to private RV bathrooms with showers and coin-operated laundry facilities. We are located within Bandon City limits and camp fires are not permitted. If you have your own propane fire ring, these are permitted with approval of management. The motel and RV park are smoke and vape free, we do provide designated and separate open-air seating areas for those who enjoy cannabis and tobacco products. Well behaved pets are welcome to stay in the RV park.

Our location provides a bit of wind break and tends to remain sunny when the fog rolls into town and at the beach. Easy walkability to grocery shopping and supplies, is a 15-minute walk into Old Town and a short drive to Bandon’s beautiful beaches just a couple miles away in both directions.

Awesome Find!

Nicole & David have created a real gem of a little park. Not many spots but if you’re lucky enough to find one available grab it. Just off the 101 but feels really private & super quiet. The property is nicely tree’d and nice touches like the potted plants on the picnic tables abound. Super clean bathrooms, restrooms, laundrey (coin). We had a great time walking/biking into old town Bandon to eat & rode a bit further to the beach. Our neighbors Mike & Carole even hooked us up with extra crab they’d caught and it made for an amazing dinner. Great spot for sure!

So Awesome!

We lucked into a spot at Bandon Wayside and it was a highlight of our Oregon Coast to Redwoods RV tour. Nicole & David run a great little park. You’re just off the 101 but it feels super private & quiet. You’re surrounded by big trees, super nice showers/laundry/restrooms, and the nice touches abound. Our camp neighbors, Mike & Carole, caught their limit of crab off the Bandon marina pier that morning and shared their catch with us which made for an amazing dinner! Great spot and can’t wait to get back.

Awesome spot

This motel/ RV spot looks like it’s straight out of a hippie pintrest board. Everything is clean in shared spaces, the WiFi was decent and the prices were fairly comparable to what you’d find on the coast. The best part was the details in the shared spaces, the string of lights and awesome designed camping spots.

I have a little Astro van that fit perfect but it looked like they had spots for bigger RVs as well.

Awesome place to stay

We liked the concept from the get go, and after seeing pictures on line showing how well  they decorated the rooms we were all in.  And now that we are here, we love it.  The young couple Nicole and Dave can't be any nicer, and the spaces are so well thought out and clean.  Lots of personal touches you only see if you look, but more importantly, the space is level, clean, the utilities are well setup and maintained, and the space between trailers is good.  The camp is quiet and we will hate to leave.  With limited spots, I'm sure people hesitate to post how great this place is, because soon it will be hard to get reservations.  But, I for one will always try this place first when I'm in the area.  If you like clean, neat, quiet, friendly, casual, and homey, you should definitely check this place out.  And, it is reasonably priced.  We love it.  Five stars doesn't do it justice!

New favorite

We wanted to be “in” town and gave Wayside a try. It is awesome! Looks like a small hotel with 8 RV spots in the rear. The proprietors live onsite. All 8 are back in spots but the angles are easy.

Tested the 30 amp and electricity is solid. The WiFi was the best we have encountered (important since I have to work). There is plenty of shade. The other spots were somewhat close yet it was always peaceful and quiet.

The beach is a 10 minute drive. Face Rock is cool. Gas and supplies are mere minutes. We kept going back to Face Rock creamery. Try the Mac and cheese!

Definitely coming back here.

Home like

For being walking distance from the busy little town of Bandon this place is was a gem. The owners are incredibly kind and accommodating. Also very very dog friendly, which is huge for us! Bathrooms were spotless and stocked with everything you could need! For those who partake, there is a lovely little smoking shack for Cannabis use . Our van fit perfectly in the spot designated for vans right next to two little tent sites! If we weren’t on a schedule to get down the California coasts we would have stayed another night!!!
