Sun Outdoors Coos Bay

SUMMARY PRESENTED BYT-Mobile

Accessible year-round via paved roads, Sun Outdoors Coos Bay accommodates RVs up to 60 feet with full hookups including electric, water, and sewer connections. The campground operates on a reservation system and welcomes pets, providing multiple access options including drive-in, walk-in, and boat-in sites.

The facility sits adjacent to the coastline, where campers can walk to the beach in approximately three minutes. During low tide, visitors gain access to what reviewers describe as a more secluded stretch of sand. On-site amenities include clean restrooms, hot showers, laundry facilities, and WiFi access. The campground provides crab pots for borrowing along with designated areas for cleaning and cooking catches.

Sites are positioned close together, with neighbors parked just a few feet apart according to multiple reviews. Corey W. notes that at "low tide you have access to a private beach." The sound of waves provides natural nighttime audio for most sites. Staff members receive consistent praise for their helpful approach to guest services.

Campers seeking different accommodations can explore Beach Bound RV Park and Campground, located nearby with its own coastal access and amenities.

Nice but crowded

Nice park, very clean and the folks are great. Beautiful beach access. The only down side is how close the sites are to each other. You’re parked just a few feet away from your neighbors.
