Scenic beach view to wake up to

It is a normal rest stop, with flushable toilets and picnic tables. The bathrooms are clean. What makes this so wonderful is the beach view and that it is accessible by a short paved trail.

Great Spot

Stayed longer than 4 hours and we had no problem. There were others here as well. The lights weren’t too bright as they were flickering on & off. Offered water so we could wash our dishes

Great overnight stop

Right next to the beach! The sign says 4hr parking overnight but we took the risk, nobody knocking on our door. Beautiful spot!!

Awesome rest stop

This rest area on the beach is very pleasant and basic. It’s well-lit, clean, and offers direct beach access from the parking lot. While it lacks major services or vending options, water is available, making it a convenient and serene stop

Stayed overnight no problem

We were kinda nervous because the sign says only 4 hour "overnight" parking, my partner rides a motorcycle and we got rained out so needed somewhere to stay truly overnight. Annnd no problems there! We stayed from 6pm to about 8am the next day, and another car stayed longer than us. I think with anything monitored you take the risk of getting kicked out after the time frame, but we didn't have issues! And had a beautiful view to wake up to. Large RV/Trailer spots

Wake up to a view

Arrived here after dark and woke up to a stunning beach view.

Well lit (for better for worse) rest stop right off 101. There’s a bit of separation from the highway which makes it quieter and more private. When we went in off season (mid-November) there was only 1 other van there but there are probably 15 spots total.

Several picnic tables and clean flushable toilets are a plus.

Short, 30 second walk to the beach.

Highly recommend!

Overnight Only, Crashing Waves

The drive here from the north or south on the 101 is absolutely stunning!

This is a small parking lot with flush toilets, trash cans, water fountains and a foot wash.

There is a small trail right to the ocean.

We arrived late at night and there were other campers, cars and trucks parked there. The forest service came by to clean the restrooms and trash from the parking lot as well as the trash cans in the bathrooms, that next morning.

There are picnic areas, we set the Coleman stove out and made coffee and breakfast, watching the waves crash against the beach. Absolutely breathtaking, as well as falling asleep to the sounds (it’s louder than the traffic).

There are a lot of pull-offs that people were camped at over night as well. We just decided to stay in a well lit area and the bathrooms were a plus.
