Nice family friendly area

Very nice grounds, lots of paved pathways for bike riding, skateboarding, ect.. Air conditioned shower houses. Very nice size spaces, we were in a full hookup site.

Great campground, amazing short hikes

We absolutely loved our time here, will be back again!!

We stayed at a large corner site adjacent the playground in the back.  It was very quiet and wooded.  We did have the community water spigot at our site, but it wasn't a problem at all (and very handy for us).  The pool was fantastic, with…

Great 4th of July weekend!!

Had a 4 day 3 night long weekend. Camp host on I think lot 71 or there about were great at keeping the activities going. Every night there was a movie and you could buy root beer floats for $1!! And the kids loved it. We also used the camper beach but to the left of it to launch our kayaks. Which…

I will return

It was better than decent😀. The bathrooms and bathhouse were clean .. one broken shower head but the other three were functional. Clean hot water without an odor. The general store employee (SANDY) was everything and exceptional. She went over and waaayyy beyond to help us as we were new to the…

Nice campground located around lots of things to do

Nice large campground with a fire pit and picnic table at each site. Camp site was decently sized though on a corner so can get a little busy. Bathrooms and showers were clean. Children’s play area was very nice - my kids loved playing on the equipment. Conveniently located near lots of hiking and…

Nice but small!

The sites in the park are nice but small. There are no full hookup sites for those with bigger campers. The park has plenty to do, swimming at the beach or lodge pool, frisbee golf, horseback riding, hiking, boating, etc. Most sites have shade and hedge roe between your neighbors which is nice.…

Clean, tons of amenities

Great for families who need lots of entertainment. There was showers and washing machine, general store, movie night, playgrounds and more. We stayed in the S loop which is for tent campers which was lower fidelity than the other loops. Our site didn’t have a table, it had been moved to another…

Two night stay

We found this campground on the Dyrt app. No one from campground ever retuned my calls. I called the Expo center and a lady answered all of my questions. Over 300 sites, first come basis. Full hookups. Park on grass site, level. We like this kind of basic camping as we have a motorhome and use our…

Great state park facilities

The shower houses are pretty nice for a state park, and the sites, while some can be a bit difficult to navigate with hills, are pretty spacious. There are a lot of good shady spots to pick from, and the hiking is amazing. This is an annual trip for my family.

Great stopping point

Staff is very friendly and we got a nice pull through site for a quick stop over my way to upper Michigan. There’s a really nice pond and has water activities if you stay longer. Easy in/out

Beautiful but questionable design.

We stayed down at the "lake" spots which are not on the lake but quite above it. Our first site was #19, we were even hesitant to park our 23ft camper in it, but we did and then realized that as soon as we try to get in or out of the camper, it was a steep drop down 5ft. All the sites around this…

Great Campground

We arrived three hours after check in started and headed straight to the camp office to check in. Our tent site was ready right away and the kind lady at the desk helped us get DRY firewood and helped us locate our spot. Our campground was clean and mostly quiet. About a 2 min walk and you can walk…

Nice but a bit cramped

The park is nice and well maintained. The loop we were in was super cramped. We are in a popup camper and I have no idea how the folks in large trailers navigated and got set up. There is not much space between you and the next site. Only space for one car per spot. Very little cell reception…
