Potentially a quiet place to park

It’s a stretch to give a parking space more than three stars but it is only because it is just that - a place to park for the night! This CB is located a short distance from the highway and that reduces the road noise (but you will still hear some). There is plenty of parking and there were large pull-thru sites in the back of the restaurant, where RVs and buses usually park. We have a camper van that fits in a regular parking space so that is not an issue for us.

This location has longer hours than others: 7 am– 10 pm. The restrooms are clean, and my hubby always enjoys breakfast the next morning before we hit the road.

We are used to calling ahead to see if RV parking is available but when I checked the Cracker Barrel app (good idea to have it), it listed Bus/RV parking as an amenity right on the app, so no call was needed.

Quiet, probably, normally

We were excited when we saw the layout of the parking area for this Cracker Barrel location - away from the main road and in between a forest and a hotel! We expected a nice quiet night. But. A semi truck parked by us, engine idling all night, while he slept in the hotel. And then a Class A pulled in next to us late at night and ran their generator all night. Oh well. Other than those two things, it was indeed very quiet. Other than the employees going to the dumpster every few minutes and screeeeeching the enclosure doors open and then screeeeeching them back shut again. But I'm not complaining! Happy to have a safe place for the night. There are 4 RV spots behind the restaurant but one had a POD storage unit - I think a van may be able to fit in front of that.

Also, usually when we ask if we can stay overnight at a Cracker Barrel, the shop employees seem very indifferent and just tell us where they want us to park. This time, we happened to talk to a manager, and her response was a scoff and then a "well, we won't tow." So, I took that to mean she isn't crazy about RVs staying the night but there's nothing they can do about it.

Overall, a good solid place to stay the night.
