Easy (but noisy) campspot for a long day of traveling
We are on a cross country road trip in our camper van, and we are finding KOA’s to be an easy way to drive long hours, and have a safe and reliable place to sleep at night. We make the reservations on the road, our site info is ready when we arrive after hours. The bathrooms at the KOA Holidays have been so nice, and clean. This particular KOA was very noisy. Trains passed close by all night, horns and all. Bugs were loud. We were also woken up by staff mowing the lawn and weed wacking before 8am. We were making coffee and breakfast on our table, when the mowers came right into our spot. Noise is probably less of an issue in an RV, but in a van with screens, or in a tent it will be a noisy night.

Table Rock is too big for one visit
We loved visiting Table Rock Park. We will definitely be back! We stayed at campsite 1, spot 103, a 30 AMP electric site. It was $28 a day with an online fee and tax, put us at about $120 for 4 nights. Definitely worth it and will pay when we come back. Our campsite was in the sun most of the day and that kind of sucked, it was really hot around camp. Our site had a trail right behind it and that led down to a little rock shelf on the lake that was perfect for swimming! We fished there a little and saw some fish and had a few nibbles but didnt catch anything. We went to that spot almost every day we were there. Clean bathrooms, mostly clean showers, and trying out the laundry room tomorrow. Probably one of the nicer campgrounds we've stayed at. It was too hot to hike and the marina was booked on the paddle boats we wanted to rent so we're gonna come back bc this campground is open year round!

Gorgeous and affordable park!
The park has nicely arranged sites with good space between them. Paved pads with concrete pads for metal picnic tables and fire rings with grill, the rest of the site is natural. All sites at least have a nice view of the lake if they are not directly on the lake. Very nice views! They have a great well maintained beach area as well as a playground and shelter area with tables. Highly recommend!

Roaring River State Park Campground
Very nice
Large spots in Campground 1 with a lot of shade. Campground 2 and 3 are a little closer together. Very clean and quiet. Showers could use a little up dating. It has hiking trails and roads to bike on. Plus the huge spring that creates the Roaring River and a large fish hatchery. Fish for trout.

Wow. This was the most spectacular site we have ever had. Perfect little patio. Watched the Branson Belle float by. So sad we only booked one night. Cannot wait to return

Loved it
Hosts were very accommodating. Site was lovely. Coffee shop was great. We did get a pizza one night, delicious. My only “complaint” We selected a site by the dog park on the map, but there is not a dog park.

Has potential but needs owner attention
You can tell this property had potential; the owners have put a lot of $$ into installing sites w/electricity/gravel & a new bathhouse. But checking in was sketchy when “the office” is an unidentified building with a handwritten poster board, “Knock before entering.” I had to text before a young lady came out to show us to our site. The listing says all sites have water & trash. Not accurate. None in our site & water pumps at top of the hill were turned off. The only water avail was at the bathhouse….100 yards from our site. NO TRASH RECEPTACLES OF ANY KIND any where except a dumpster at the top of the hill at the office entrance. Individual toilet rooms w/showers were nice enough, but only 1 had toilet paper! Plus, the campground has long-term campers. We had no problems with that, but this is not a polished property; fairly primitive in overall experience … but with potential. Rather than post a public review which WOULD affect future customers, I sent a detailed text to the owner (?) with feedback & details that are easily fixable. I said I did not want to post a public negative review. It’s been almost 2 weeks now, & I received no response or acknowledgment. Perhaps the young lady who was on-site never gave the feedback to the owners who were “out of state”..???… I don’t know. But when customers attempt to provide actual info privately rather than on public blast, that’s a good thing. Oh well; I tried. Overall, this is “a place to stay.” And $35/nite w/elec is equitable. But don’t go to Hitching Post & expect what it’s not. I’m actually only disappointed the “owners”(?)may not have seen actual feedback that would help the campground.

Wow 2 pools are huge size. Indoor & outside both . Shower houses public bathrooms 5 shower houses 10-15 showers 2 laundry's ,lodge, food golf carts entertainment ....block outside entrance live branson shows....
