Fun with the kids!

Overall a great experience! My only complaint was how close sites were to each other, but the location made up for it!

Perfect spot to explore Branson, MO

Not sure why the notice says “closed for the season” on the Dyrt’s website, because we’re staying in the park and it’s about 3/4 full. We have a great pull-thru spot right on the water. All the spots are full-hookups with 20/30/50 amp service. There are a large variety of spots available, from shorter back-in spots to 90’ premium pull-thrus with fire pits.  Trash is picked up from your drive every morning, anything you missed can be found in the camp store, and there’s a free trolley service that takes you almost anywhere in Branson. We even got a chance to sample the local farmers market that is held in the lot next door on Tuesday evenings. In short, come and stay right in old town Branson, enjoy the park, enjoy the water, and enjoy the town.

Memorial Day weekend

Stayed here 3 night memorial Day weekend 2022. All sites have concrete pads and all looked to be full hookups. The premium spots are upfront by the water. And all have their own fire pits. We stayed in site 131. They pack them in tight on the back row. Not a lot of room between rigs but they back up to a Community fire pit area. We have a toy hauler so it was prefect for us to put the party deck down. Did not use the bathrooms or showers but the wifi did work well. Couldn’t get the cable to work but that could have been my cable/rig. The park is next to a boat ramp that gets a lot of use so there is a good amount of traffic and the railroad bridge gets used as well. 3 public use docks for fishing and a Marina to rent boats are all steps away. Over all great place to stay.

Water view is nice!

We have had friends that loved and recommended this park to us, but aside from the proximity to the water and Bass Pro, we didnt really think it was what it was built up to be. It could definitely have been a COVID thing, but we felt the sites were small and it was a typical RV park...lots of rigs and smaller yards. It was fine and we loved being close to the water, just not what we had anticipated.

Branson Lakeside

Our experience has been good. We are located within walking distance to the Branson Landings. The sites are close but not bad this time of the year, we have had a few neighbors, not many hanging outside their campers though.

Adequate

Good points - Friendly staff, nice mix of campers, convenient location to Branson Landing, and pet friendly.

Bad Points - spaces are very tight, loud traffic noises, no shade in the lakefront spots, restrooms are old and smelled musty. We were given a code for the restrooms, and it seems that it is free knowledge. Men’s restroom was never locked. Seems lots of locals use the place. Security is suspect.

Convenient RV park, Dangerous electric boxes, Customer service needs improvement.

Our vacation in Aug started off irritating upon check in I went into the office to verify our camp site as the packet left outside for us did not match what I was told on the phone the man and woman working the office both seemed unhappy that I was questioning the check in packet and hastily said the packet was correct ( Even though the check out date was wrong) we went to site 107 and set up camp had everything set up inside and out and fully hooked up when we were then told to pack up and move to site 106 ( the site I was told over the phone to begin with) the lady and man would not budge and refused to just let us stay in that site so we packed up and moved and missed our paid ticketed show. The biggest and most dangerous issue was the low voltage at the electric box that caught our surge protector and main power cord of our camper on fire which ended our stay early. The manager finally contacted me after I called the city of Branson complaining because it had been a few days of trying to reach someone. He filed a claim with the park’s insurance ( Tokyo Marine) for repairs to our camper. Tokyo marine finally contacted us and the lady was extremely rude we still have not heard back from her or been successful in reaching management at the park. So we have lost out on two pre paid trips because our camper is not fixed still ( Per hateful lady from Tokyo Marine) we are not to fix the camper until we hear back from her well she has until 9/22 to contact us back or we will make the repairs ourselves.

Great RV park right on the river

Great atmosphere and sooo close to the Branson landing for dinner/shopping but also right on the river for a great day on the boat. Just a bit down river from Lily’s Landing (bait shop and a fun stop in for the kids to grab a snack). Walking distance to a park with play ground and two separate dog park areas (one fenced one open). Definitely an “RV PARK” nothing secluded about it if that’s what you’re looking for... very close to neighboring site and even in off season it was packed full the weekend we went. The sites along the river side had great big fire pits too.

Great Location!

This is a great little gem! Definitely not rugged outdoor camping. It is in town but so convenient to an amazing place to shop, Branson Landing. We pushed our son in his wheelchair and walked around the area. The trolly is also available if you don’t want walk.

There is no playground for kids but a play area in Branson Landing and a candy shop. We plan to go back when heading to Branson.

Definitely wheelchair friendly and frilly is wheelchair accessible.

Great Location Near Branson Landing

The lakes in the Branson area are some of the most coveted locations for stay.   They provide recreation and access unlike anything you will find in a typical campground in the area.    But staying at Table Rock sometimes you can feel a bit to removed from the action and if you are wanting to be a bit closer I would suggest this campground located on Taneycomo.   Taneycomo is more known for fishing than large boating, it is quieter and has more charm than the larger and more highly trafficked lake.

Along its shores you will find a lot of charm and with that this campground!!

Mostly designed for RVs you can actually stay here as a tent camper, you have to be a bit more creative in your placement but will enjoy great access to the lake and shoreline.   I suggest for tent campers staying in the tent and weighting it down as opposed to attempting to stake it, the ground is pretty hard.

For RV camping this is a dream.   Large pull throughs and pull ins for every shape and size.

My personal favorite aspect of this campground however is the access to Branson Landing.  I love going here for entertainment off strip.  There is a large shopping area, great activities and restaurants.    This campground is what I have found to be the closest to both the water and the landing.

From here you can access places like Dicks 5&10. a Branson staple.    You can ride the Parrot zip line, catch a viewing of the landing water and fire show.   It is so fun and unique.  And it is just literally a walk from the camp so you don't even have to get in your car to negotiate a parking place, which is pretty handy!!

Staying here everyone is very friendly and I noticed that a lot of retirees were here when I visited enjoying the access and views.   The sunsets on the dock were a popular favorite for the view!!

TIPS:

* Summer time can be very popular in Branson in general, but there is a second wave which occurs just after Thanksgiving for holiday traffic.  Although it is colder this place is still really popular at this time.

* Ride the trolley if you have the opportunity to do so.     This will take you to historic downtown and provide a quick and easy method of transportation.

Great park in a great location

Sites are level. Closer to water and shopping. Hosts are very friendly and this will be our go to spot when visiting Branson. The dog run was very clean and had agility bridge set up for exercise. Loved sitting in the docks and watching the water. Also, they have 2 trolley stops in park.

In the heart of Branson

Lakeside RV is located on Lake Taneycomo and just steps away from Branson Landing, which is a shopping and entertainment area. There is a shuttle to and from the campground and the Landing if you don’t want to make the short hike. The staff at Lakeside have always been friendly and helpful. Fishing at the docks is a favorite pastime for many.
