Huge! Beautiful campground

I think they have over 800 camping sites, no hookups, they do have water spouts around. The bathrooms and showers are in decent condition, heads up the showers are coin operated, so bring your quarters! The lake is beautiful, the sites are pretty secluded from each other considering how close they…

Avoid this place

Staff is hostile and rude site is crowded and unattractive it’s expensive $40 per night. We were evicted because we have a Nature’s Head composting Toilet. They require plumbed in black water.

Hiking Gem in Sturbridge

Beautiful campground in a nice central location nearby several nice towns in Central Massachusetts. The hiking is some of the best I have seen from a campground in the area, with a huge system of trails which are all very well marked. These trails vary greatly in terms of difficulty, a few of the…

No ones there

I rung the bell and there's no service, no phone , there's campers on the ground...... Also its like a dirt hole on the middle of the woods and the office looks like it's falling apart

Great camping

We enjoyed our stay here. My parents stayed in a bunkhouse and my husband and I stayed on the adjacent site. Bunkhouse is very basic but clean. Sites are well spaced with lots of types to choose from. More wooded, close to beach, open fields.

Nice campground

We went memorial day weekend few years ago, busy holiday of young teens partying. Park staff tried their best, but other campers definitely took away from our stay. Loud throughout. Our site was fairly far from services, long run with small kids in the middle of the night. Not our favorite place,…

Great time

Stayed on an rv site for 1 week this past summer. Had a great time, kids had a blast with the boat rentals and fishing.
Saw they have 2 yurts for rent as well.

Staff was incredibly freindly and gave us restaurant recommendations around the area.
About 5 min from great hiking at purgatory…

If you want water views this is the place.

I have been camping here for 20 years off and on. The staff is always friendly and will accommodate you with whatever you need. Don't like your site? Call the office and they will find you one you do like if it's available. The campground is set on the Q River and if you're lucky enough to see it…

Best campground!

This place is a dream. Stayed here for a month in the fall. Campground is situated in a beautiful valley with a little pond, hiking trails, playground, jumping pillow, swimming pool and hot tub. Owner is very involved, energetic, and friendly. There are events for the kids every weekend and it’s…

Quiet and Calm

Lake Williams Campground Association is wholly owned by site owners. They only allow seasonal campers. Short term camping opportunities are limited to people who know an owner or seasonal camper. The owners are very nice and many work hard to make improvements to the campground. Amenities include…

Dry camping done right

This campground is quaint and is nestled in RI state forests. The sites do not have hook ups, but water faucets can be found throughout the camp, and there is is dump station. There are pit toilets around the camp, and there is a central modern bathroom. The beach is beautiful and would be busy on…
