We are a nudist resort & community: Nudity is accepted and encouraged throughout Lake Como grounds, weather permitting.

Lake Como, chartered April 25, 1941 as the Florida Athletic and Health Association, is Pasco County’s first nudist resort and Florida’s oldest nudist resort continuously occupying the same grounds.

Lake Como became a resident-owned cooperative in 1997 and remains committed to preserving  and enhancing our natural environment while providing superior recreational facilities.
There is a 3 week maximum stay for tent camping, with 1 full week minimum absence required before another site rental. Tent campers must document a permanent address of residence (not a PO Box).

South Grove RV sites have water, electric and sewer hook-up. North Grove sites are available in season with water & electric only. Electric service is 30 or 50 amp; please specify your requirement when reserving.

Lake Como Nudist Resort

The space is private and fenced. A 12' wide gate for entry and has room for a 45' motorhome, fifth wheel, or travel trailer with slideouts. You will be parking on an area made of limestone and crushed shell which provides a great surface to park on and allows for easy leveling. Full hookups are a conveniently located at the back of the space and include sewer hookup, 50 Amp RV Receptacle with breaker, and potable water hose. You will be sharing the common area with the guests of the four pet friendly, spacious, clean, 2 BD/1 BA apartments that are also located on the property. The grounds are landscaped, with plenty of seating consisting of a large picnic table, chaise lounges, tables, and chairs that make it perfect for relaxing while visiting with friends and family, catching some rays, or grilling out. There is a large oak tree that provides lots of shade for when you want to kick back and relax.

RV Space at Tarpon Springs Suites

Pull in and set up in our pasture where you will be greeted by a few friendly goats and maybe a cow walking by. Climb a tree or sit under its cool canopy. You can always choose to soak up that Florida sun.

Explore the wetlands with cypress trees and lots of hawks and other native Florida birds. It’s a very quiet area away from traffic or neighbors. We have a bathroom in our barn venue available on weekdays.

Campfires are allowed within local regulations.

Sun Lake RV Resort is a 47 unit Lakeside RV & MH community located within a pristine and natural Florida environment. There is plenty to do while staying with us; hiking, biking, fishing, canoeing, horseback riding, motocross, and much more. It's less than 1 mile from I-75 so it's minutes away from the entertainment and activities of Downtown Tampa and popular cities such as Anna Maria Island, Sarasota, Bradenton, Tampa and Clearwater.  

  

Some of our amenities include a cozy clubhouse, climate controlled pool, like new laundry facility and bathhouse with hot showers, free Wi-Fi, horseshoes, shuffleboard, campfire area, RV/boat storage and more. Our 32 acre bass fishing lake is accessible by non motorized or electric watercraft. The bass on average are 3-5 pounds, however we've had up to 8 pounds on occasion.   

  

Our community is well maintained. The owners take great pride in providing a good place to visit each year and also live all year.

Lake Park

Well-known for its natural spring which flows year-round, cool, clean water into the Alafia River, the Lithia Springs Park was originally purchased by Gardinier, Inc., a mining company that soon became Mosaic Phosphate, Inc. When the company leased the park to Hillsborough County as a recreational area in 1957, the 160-acre site slowly became a popular camping spot.

After setting up camp, hikers can explore the woodsy trails and its diverse plant communities, river cypress swamps, and hardwood hammocks. But it is the natural spring that serves as the park’s major attraction, which---courtesy of the water’s 72 degree temperature---provides an excellent swimming experience all year long. In addition to swimming, visitors can fish and play volleyball. There is also a bath house for the parents to rest and chat, while their kids can play at the park’s playground.

The park’s 44 camping sites---which is also suitable for RVs---include water/shower and electrical services. The campers also have access to picnic shelters and tables, restrooms, and barbecue grills. There are no reservations for these sites; everything is done on a first-come, first-serve basis.

-Picnic shelters are not rented for the months April - September.
-All shelters, tables and grills and parking spaces are first come first serve
-Due to the high demand of the swimming area and current conditions maximum capacity is
