Causeway Cove Marina and RV Park

      Large sites

It's a marina with RV sites, not your typical RV park with a marina. The sites are large, so you're not 10 feet from your neighbor. There's probably more like 40 to 50 feet between the sites. The concrete pads are level, long, and wide. It's close to everything Fort Pierce has to offer. Some within walking distance. Keep in mind that this is a marina, so there's lots of boats and other RV'S in storage here. There's also the traffic associated with the marina. If you're a boater, then this is for you. If you're a resort type camper, this is probably not the place for you.

      Aggressive breeds aloud without muzzels

I stayed for 3 months, the place was lovely. But there is something very important to me I have a very docile golden retriever poodle. While I was there there was many pitbulls without muzzle witnessed a pitbull get loose from its owner and attacked two small dogs the dogs had to go to the veterinarian hospital I had to take my dog and pick him up and run and hide this happened right in front of me it was horrible. I don't know the fate of the other dogs but one couldn't walk. The man that was walking the Pitbull lost control of it because the Pitbull wanted to attack the other dogs in the park he slipped right out of his collar. I believe they shouldn't allow aggressive breeds and if they do they should be muzzled until then I would never come back here I love my dog I can't imagine the situation if it would have been my dog it scares me just the thought

Nature's Retreat: A Sustainable Getaway with a Touch of Serenity

Incredible campground, and it was an unforgettable experience! The 2.3 acres are full of natural beauty, with the open meadow and food forest creating a peaceful and vibrant atmosphere. The birds, bees, and butterflies were everywhere, making it feel like a true nature retreat. The abundance of fresh bananas and the host's expertise in foraging added a unique touch. Plus, being so close to Riverbend Park and Jupiter's beaches was a huge bonus! Just like keeping track of GEPCO bill online at https://gepcobillsonline.pk/ helps me manage my energy usage, this campground taught me to appreciate natural resources and sustainability.

Pitt or mixed Pitt breed is not allowed. 😏

I tried to get a reservation with this park and was told my dog would not be allowed because of his breed. The receptionist claimed a Pittbull had bitten a person. Please know that most dogs reflect their owners. You are not welcome if you have a Pitt or a mixed Pitt.

      Just ok.

Pros: The grounds are nice. The bathrooms are clean. The playgrounds are nice.
It's pretty quiet. Easy to book. A lot of available spots to pick from. Water front is nice. Full service.

Cons: It's a little pricey for what it is ($55+ a night depending on location). WiFi doesn't have useable connection. The spaces are very close together. No extra parking. Basically one vehicle & guest parking is not close to sites at all. No fire pits or grills at the sites. There are iguanas everywhere, the place is pretty much infested with them.

Management is a nightmare for long term. Save your trouble and go elsewhere

We sold our house in West Palm Beach and relocated to Vero Beach for work, choosing to stay in our RV at this park while awaiting our new home to be built. Initially, we were excited, but the management at this park turned out to be a nightmare. Despite the reasonable and straightforward rules, we faced constant harassment. We have two dogs that we walk multiple times a day. There are no trash cans or doggy bags on the property except in the dog park, so we took the initiative to buy an outdoor trash can and a bulk supply of dog waste bags to ensure we cleaned up after our pets. Yet, we received weekly notices accusing us of not cleaning up after our dogs. Each time I went to the main office to discuss these notices, I was told to“just ignore it” as it was likely a“pesty neighbor.” Additionally, when family visited us for the day and parked at our RV slot, we received notices about parking violations. After discussing this with the office, we were advised to have our visitors park in the lot by the restaurant, which we did. Despite this, we continued to receive notices for various infractions, such as improper water hookup and not stopping completely in the neighborhood. This felt like borderline harassment. As responsible adults who strive to follow regulations, we were perplexed and frustrated by these continuous and unfounded accusations. Each time we sought clarification from the office, they dismissed our concerns, blaming"nosey neighbors" and suggesting neighborly disputes were at play. Ultimately, we were given a 30-day notice to vacate the property. This experience is particularly disappointing because we had suggested this park for our upcoming family reunion, which would have brought 47 rentals for a week. Now, I can't wait to leave this place. For anyone considering a short-term stay, this park may suffice. However, I strongly advise against bringing pets unless you want to be harassed and falsely accused. For those seeking a long-term rental, avoid this park at all costs, as you will face weekly harassment. Furthermore, we had several packages confirmed as delivered to the“receptionist/front desk,” which mysteriously went missing, apparently mishandled by the staff. Our initial excitement to be part of the Road Runner community has completely dissipated. I am eager to leave and will never return. I do not recommend this park and will be warning others. 0/10.---

      Treasure Coast RV Park

A beautiful park, but with excessive signage and rude owners.

We selected this park due to the proximity to the family that we were visiting for a weekend event. Since this was the middle of July, we noted that the park was half full. The sites are clean, and clear, with nice grass areas. We used the laundry room and while it was clean, I thought the$5 cost for a single cycle of wash and dry was closer to the higher end that I would be used to. We are not'resort' people, but I can imagine that people would enjoy the centre pond and the small swimming pool. My only concern was when my wife's friends came to pick her up. They arrived and parked in the front parking lot, and then walked the three spaces over to our RV to see the RV. While walking to leave, a staff person came by on a golf cart and started to verbally berate them for parking in a handicapped space(in an empty parking lot) and walking onto the property. While my wife and her elderly friends were being yelled at to"do what you're told" they did not have the opportunity to have their handicap decal on the rental vehicle that they were using. Afterwards, the person, came by to threaten me as well about the situation and that he would have us thrown out. While I do not doubt that somewhere in the excessive signage this is a technical rule violation, I am suspicious that this commitment to vehemence and rudeness is equally applied to all guests. I was disappointed that I failed to see anything to imply that this is a'traditional, good old days' kind of RV park, but I would certainly not recommend this location to the Green Book.

      Very relaxing 5 star review

The place is gorgeous and if you want shade or sun it offers both. Quiet, relaxing, good trails that lead over to Hickory Hammock campground. Audrey is a excellent camp host.

They keep it very clean and is very helpful in showing you the campsites. It is right off the main road so no dirt road to get there though you have some road noise but you can get back away from most of it.  Lots of wildlife in the woods, nothing bothered the campsite.

There are bathrooms but no showers. They are a ways away from the campground. Its still shocking you can camp in Florida like this for free. Hope we can keep it this way for a long time.

      It’s the bees knees

This is a working bee farm, so bee aware if you have allergies. It is quiet, clean, and airy. You can’t hear your neighbors. Just take a breath and relax.

Love Steve the owner, he is very accommodating and loves what he does.

The air strip is an added extra. I love watching the planes take off and land.

All sites are full hookup. Great place to stay if you want to stay for awhile. So much to do and see.

Got here in March and it is now May. Feels like home.

      Buggy but quiet

Follow the steps described on the website to register for a free camping permit. You’re supposed to write your name and permit number on a paper to display on your dash and check in with the camp host, but we never saw them and no one came by.

We’re probably spoiled coming from non buggy places, but there were a lot of gnats and bugs. We basically stayed in the camper the entire time. The family campground has composting toilets (they do smell bad, but better than nothing at a free site). There’s an equestrian campground down the road that has showers and running water toilets but we didn’t check those out. Some people had several barking dogs but that didn’t bother us overnight. Plenty of empty spaces on a Thursday night.

Beautiful park, but no parking and very crowded

I was going to rent there, but it was so crowded that we would not be able to open our awnings and we were only allowed 1 car per spot. You have to pay $6.00 a day to park your car in a lot that is some distance away. This of course is in season, so I am sure that this was why is was the way it was. It was so crowded that I could not see how our 5th wheel would fit, not how we would be able to fit it in. I am so glad we went to visit before we were to stay 3 months there

Great place to camp or spend an evening away from the city

Great place to escape the city without going far, it’s a great place to spend camping or to rent out for an evening campfire night. There’s a man made pond next to it where you’ll get a nice view of the sun going down. Bathrooms aren’t too far away but unless you’re in the first four camp sites you’re probably gonna want to drive to it.

      The best place ever!!!

Bohemian Freedom Ranch is hands down the best camping experience I’ve had road tripping. You can camp right out in the pasture with the animals, which includes water buffalo, emus, and all sorts of farm animals. The host Jim is kind, responsive, and welcoming, and was accessible for the whole stay. The farm features tons of outdoor hangout spots made of reclaimed materials, a shower, an indoor common area, and a swimming hole! I loved my time there and highly recommend!
