Actual Resort Life!

This KOA is the best one we’ve ever stayed at. It’s an actual resort with a golf course in the middle. You get all the same amenities at a usual KOA with bonus ones like poolside food delivery, golf tee times, tennis and pickle ball tournaments, bingo nights etc. Obviously it’s mostly older senior people but they are super pleasant!! Only downside is that while the park is dog friendly, it’s a bit tough to walk the dogs since there aren’t really any paths so you need to walk on the road with golf carts, cars and other people walking dogs so can be a bit tough. Otherwise, absolutely too notch! They are also the first KOA where the K9 park was actually clean, no poop!

Overall - great camping “resort”

If you are wanting the outdoors style camping, not here. This is more of a resort then campground. Great staff, many amenities, and overall a good stay. Should have looked into it more as this is more of an RV park, and less of a true campgrounds.

Horrible

The campsites are not spread out at all and the campground is nowhere near any types of wilderness. It is pretty much an RV park on the outskirts of town. The campground was packed!!

Lots to do

There is a lot to do there and the family pool had crystal clear water. Place is very clean and staff were not only friendly but really helpful, with the exception of one older lady at the front desk who was pretty nasty about me not knowing the correct check in procedure even though I had never been there before. Other then her it was a really great place to spend a relaxing weekend.

A great place for families and kids...

This is the largest KOA in the country...It's a Great campground for families, although I didn't go with one...There is an adult only pool, and a family pool. The Shanty, a bar is right by the adult pool, with entertainment in season and mostly on weekends. I've been there many times in the past, with my TT and my Coach...The sites are mostly large enough for Big rigs...There are upgrades to deluxe sites with brick patios, barbeques, fire pits and chairs. It's a very busy place on the holidays...If you want quiet those days, I don't suggest you go there...There is also a Golf Course, Golf Cart Rental, A nice updated store, A fenced in Dog park...
