Great campground

Campground is well taken care of and quiet. There is some road noise in the snowberry loop at the top.

Great place for surfers!

We have stayed at San Onofre State Beach a couple times. The campground is on the bluffs, and nearby Old Man's beach has some of the best beginner's surfing waves in Southern California. The day use area gets crowded quickly during the summer, so be sure to arrive early. If you don't want to camp…

Nice spot, needs more details

There werent many details about the site I chose. The spot was mostly sloped and next to a dumpster with practically full sun, small shade by a tree. Bathrooms were clean and showers with 2min/token. Walking trails all around.

A little closed off in the winter

Absolutely beautiful campground. Super quiet neighbors, beautiful cabins available. Great bathrooms and showers. Pool and activities were closed in the winter. Pets allowed

U do pay for location

You know fairness there are a lot of spots that are better than others some closer to the lake further they have separate little communities they do have some that look as though they were permanent residents but they only allow you to stay for 21 consecutive days then you must be gone for 60 it's…

Quiet, spacious

I only saw the first 9 or so sites and stayed I think at site #9. For the most part, spacious spots, fire ring, picnic table, a lot of trees, and varied slopes. Road in is placed initially then dirt but is fine. There's other rough roads further in and access to hikes nearby. I loved how quiet it…

Club Perris

It was insane… Pop that coochie and some other explicit remarks are being blasted to the highest decibel while trying to tell a story to your 7 and 9 year old. Restrooms are vile and the showers did not work.

Great short trip close to big bear

The place is great. It has firepits and picnic tables. Plenty of trees for shade but some yellow post sites are steeper than others. I stayed at yellow post 12. The camp sites are close but still quiet. Verizon had 2 bars but very slow internet. Phone calls are okay. For a spot that's free and no…

Nice park with partiers

The Lake experience was awesome. The missus and I brought our kayak and enjoyed the time on the lake staying behind the 5mph buoys. The sandy beaches for the day use swimmers was nice too.

We stayed at the campground on a Friday night and reserved one of the outer spots of the loop (spot 375).…

Nice little campground

Water and electric only on camp sites. No dump site there. There's nice shade on probably half the sites, the other ones have little or none. Nice views of the lake but it's fenced off and access to the lake and park close in the evening. There is a small older bathroom there a flush toilet and a…

Midweek Summer in Idyllwild

Nice quiet campground within walking distance to downtown Idyllwild. Water available near sites. We were in a pop up camper. Most sites are suitable for tents only, backing in to our site was an adventure. Great hiking trails start in the campground. Showers are coin operated.
