Campground is small but the staff was friendly.
We will be there in October in our travel trailer 😎 but we have been to this park for many festivals and have had a great time.
Been here quite a few times it's a great park, lots of hiking trails to explore, but beware if you have a diggo they are only allowed certain trails. But they have warm showers and full bathrooms which is very nice.
The staff members were really nice, seemed clean over all, not too far from the town of big bear.
The 4 stars is primarily for location. This is essentially a parking lot with power and water. We had a beach front space (B035) with a decent sized palm tree. The only one I really saw. The spaces aren’t huge so if you have a big rig or large trailer it will be tight. Most trailers parked their…

Mesa Campsite at Silverwood Lake was clean beautifully kept and we had a wonderful time!
It was insane… Pop that coochie and some other explicit remarks are being blasted to the highest decibel while trying to tell a story to your 7 and 9 year old. Restrooms are vile and the showers did not work.

Nice quiet campground within walking distance to downtown Idyllwild. Water available near sites. We were in a pop up camper. Most sites are suitable for tents only, backing in to our site was an adventure. Great hiking trails start in the campground. Showers are coin operated.
Lucky to have an aunt that reserves sometimes too many weekends, we benefit a few times last summer
We’ve been here a few time. Great quiet place, clean and friendly host. Restrooms are very clean as well.
I’m new to the US and always wanted to try to stay in the wilderness. Making reservation at this camp ground was one of the best decisions I ever made. I got the taste of what it feels like to camp and live in the wilderness, but the luxury of decent civilization. I camp at the evening star area.…
