Great spot, less crowded
This was an interesting state park, I’m glad we came here for a day trip instead of booking anything for the nicer months. There is basically one trail that goes along the river between the two campgrounds, and that appears to be it.
Most people were there for ice fishing at this time of year,…
This is a great place to camp. We have been back a few times. They have sites on the lake and off. If you can get a site on the water I highly recommend. There is a trail between the site and the water but still is great. The bathrooms were always nice and clean with hot showers. Not much for…

September/2020 Site was nice. We didn't have anyone next to us (site 46), if we had, it would have felt less private. Not many trees between sites 44-48. Site is set back and right on the waterfront, could launch a canoe/kayak. Definitely one of the better views and water was clear. On the other…

We loved our stay here. Beautiful lake. Lots of space. Friend host.
Only campground that had open availability at the last minute. Everyone was very friendly and campground was clean. Fire pit and picnic table included. They were flexible on the check out time. It is a great place to stay if you want to float down the Chippewa River, Loopy’s the bar in town will…
This campground is definitely at the top of the list. The sites are huge almost state park like with ample room for your kids to play. Lots of activities on the weekend on top of the bounce pillow, pool, lagoon, skate park, volleyball, and basketball court. The grounds are well maintained and very…
This place is great for group camping- we had a mix of cabins and campers and they were able to accommodate all of us.
Pool is nice, plenty of seating. You can rent golf Carts which the kids loved. There is also a pond to swim in too.
We had a great family trip here- we rented 3 cabins and had 2 campers all together which is difficult to accommodate.
There is a pool, skate park, sand volleyball, pond And concessions. The roads were perfect for our kids bikes.
Would love to visit again
Favorite place to camp as a kid. Nice lake with plenty of hiking and biking trails. Great private sites where you’re not on top of your neighbor.
Well kept, privately owned, campground close to Lake Wissota. Enjoyed our stay.
Nice campground. Well maintained and a bunch of activities for my kids
We stayed in one of the lower walk in sites. It had a wonderful view and easy water access. The shore consists of large rocks to prevent erosion so a canoe would have been difficult to put in but it was easy to carry my kayak into the water and and paddle across the channel to the kayak/canoe…
This was a great campground that offered many different types of camping. If you like to camp in the open, with alot of tree coverings or in a cabin that had many different options. They also have a pool (wasn't open yet) Lazer tag and mini golf as well. The weekend we stayed was a buy one…
What a great place to visit this time of year (Fall). Falling acorns, frogs and chipmunks chirping, turtles basking in sunlight and more. The owls at night were a treat (sometimes even scary) to listen to.
Clean facilities and nice trails. Next time we’ll bring some kayaks.
