Pine Point County Park

SUMMARY PRESENTED BYT-Mobile

Wooded sites on the water define the experience at Pine Point County Park in Holcombe, Wisconsin. Run by the county and priced between $20 and $32 per night, this established campground sits near a lake with electric hookups, coin-operated showers, and a dump station. Most sites back up to the water, and several include boat docks, making it a practical base for anglers working the lakes in the area.

Reviewers consistently note that the sites are wooded and private, though the layout runs tight for larger rigs. Weekends bring crowds and noise. Fall visits tell a different story: one camper reported only a few others in the park during late September and October, with the tradeoff being that firewood vendors are typically not on-site. Bring your own wood if you're visiting outside peak season.

"Sites are nice and wooded," one reviewer noted after multiple fall visits, capturing the general tone of off-season stays here.

The campground accommodates both drive-in and boat-in arrivals, which broadens access for paddlers and boaters. Brunet Island State Park Campground lies a few miles south for campers wanting a state park alternative in the same corridor. Reservations are available and worth booking ahead for summer weekends. Pets are allowed. Those planning a fall trip will find the park far less congested, though the amenities remain fully operational.

Nice place to camp

Have only been here in the fall (late Sept and Oct) and there were only a few other people in the park. Bring your own wood this time of year, no one was around to buy it from. Sites are nice and wooded
