Pine Harbor Campground

SUMMARY PRESENTED BYT-Mobile

Reservations are available at Pine Harbor Campground, a privately run site outside Chippewa Falls open May 1 through October 15, with nightly rates ranging from $15 to $40. Drive-in access makes arrival straightforward, and the campground accommodates RVs up to 70 feet with electric and water hookups at select sites. A dump station is also on-site.

Proximity to Lake Wissota is one of the more consistent details across reviews. Several campers note the campground sits minutes from the lake and close to Lake Wissota State Park Campground, giving easy access to water without requiring a backcountry setup. Sites run on the larger side. One reviewer with a smaller pull-behind trailer noted that sites are positioned fairly close together, which is worth keeping in mind for those who prefer more separation.

The bath and shower house draws positive mentions across multiple visits, with reviewers specifically noting hot water availability. The front desk staff have come up in reviews as well, with at least one camper crediting an employee with useful local dining recommendations. Pets are welcome, WiFi is available, and campfires are permitted. Tent campers have found the site workable, though a few note the campground skews toward RV setups in terms of overall layout.

Campers wanting a different configuration in the area can look at O'Neil Creek Campground to the northwest as an alternative.

Great, quiet campground

Stopped for a one night stay on a cross country motorcycle trip. Very reasonable price for a tent with electric site. Asked to near the facilities and they did not disappoint. Guy at the desk had some good recommendations for dinner and was very friendly and helpful.

Nice little campground

Site was a nice size, we have a smaller pull behind. They were really close to each other. Nice bathroom and showers if you need them.

Beautiful camp ground

Words can't describe how nice and peaceful it is. The owners are very nice and helpful. Whenever we're going to be back in the area this will be the first place we want to stay. It's located close to lake Winnsota.

Small But Close to Nature

This was a good first camping trip site as it's not too far from the city but still makes you feel like you're in the heart of nature. The campground is pretty small for campers with tents but there were some decent hiking spots nearby!
