Perfect first date
We just bought our first camper and this was our first night. Great location; easy access into and out of the campground and site. Had a great first night!
Cheap water!💦
Needed to fill water tanks on our way to a music festival in Eau Claire. Only $3 to fill water tanks - convenient off highway en route to destination that has no water. Friendly staff - looks like fun family campground!
Wow
I am giving this place 4 stars, even though this didn’t truly reflect my experience. I’ll start with the good.
Stoney Creek is an incredibly well-groomed rv resort that I have already enthusiastically recommended to a friend who has an rv and a young family. The amenities are amazing. Chlorinated swimming pond, two pools, skate park, playground, laser tag, mini golf, jumping pillow, in addition to events like outdoor movies. I’m probably forgetting something. The lots are nice sites in a variety of settings, I prefer the wooded sites that are close to where the laser tag is.
The woods are where the tent sites are, and I cannot recommend actually staying here in a tent. I-94 is RIGHT there- there is a break in the tree-line that you can see the vehicles through. I wound up sleeping in my car to have an added barrier between me and the freeway noise, and I still struggled even with ear plugs and a pillow over my head. The campsites also have a light by each of them, so bring an eye mask if you are camping here and sensitive to light.
Some of our friends stayed in the cottage that is right next to the tent sites and they said they were able to hear the traffic too. The small cottages do not have bathrooms, interior doors, interior running water, or kitchen basics. The cabins I believe do.
My friend planned this trip and I basically told her that I liked this place, but as a kid-free tent camper it is not a place that I need to return to. We originally had two nights reserved but we only stayed one night because of the freeway. I’m sure that my friends will return and stay in one of the nicer cabins next time since this isn’t too far from home and you never really need to leave since you have so many activities onsite.
Helpful hints
- the fried food at the pool is very very good. You can also get alcoholic slushees.
- the Nickel is a short walk down the road. The latte drinks were not great when I was there (i ordered a cappuccino and I’m not sure what I got, but it wasn’t even a latte. I recommend sticking to straight coffee), but apparently their bagels are very good.
-the Norske Nook restaurant is close by -I’m not sure if this is an every weekend thing or was just specific to the week that I was there, but ok Friday night they would deliver pizza to your site and Saturday morning they would deliver donuts if you ordered in advance -the bathrooms are nice, it costs a quarter for every 4 minutes of showering -quiet hours start at 11pm, this is kind of late. Curfew is at 10, but we still had kids at the nearby skate park at 10:30.

Best campground around
This is a very well kept and very clean Campground they have activities all the time recording one where they hide painted Stones around the campground and if you find The Rock they have prizes such as free night. So it's really fun when you're rocking around the Campground you're always on the look for something. All the roads are Blacktop so you don't have gravel dust and the sites are very nice including cement pads and some locations. This is one of our top picks for Wisconsin campgrounds. Our campsite was great we had plenty of space and being on the end we only had one camper next to us which was about 20 yards away a little further. I have plenty of amenities such as a paintball field tent sites are super nice and the cabins are very well kept as well
Beautiful Campground Huge Sites
This campground is definitely at the top of the list. The sites are huge almost state park like with ample room for your kids to play. Lots of activities on the weekend on top of the bounce pillow, pool, lagoon, skate park, volleyball, and basketball court. The grounds are well maintained and very clean. The roads are nicely paved for bikes. Highly recommend!!
So neat and clean!
This place is great for group camping- we had a mix of cabins and campers and they were able to accommodate all of us.
Pool is nice, plenty of seating. You can rent golf Carts which the kids loved. There is also a pond to swim in too.
Super clean and family friendly
We had a great family trip here- we rented 3 cabins and had 2 campers all together which is difficult to accommodate.
There is a pool, skate park, sand volleyball, pond  And concessions.  The roads were perfect for our kids bikes.
Would love to visit again
Great place the kids loved it
Nice campground. Well maintained and a bunch of activities for my kids
Different types of camping
This was a great campground that offered many different types of camping. If you like to camp in the open, with alot of tree coverings or in a cabin that had many different options. They also have a pool (wasn't open yet) Lazer tag and mini golf as well. The weekend we stayed was a buy one night get one free so we camped the weekend for under $60!
Fun and Family Friendly Campground
This is an amazing place for families to spend time camping. Â There are so many different planned activities for both the children and the adults to participate in. Â The campground is always clean and the staff are extremely friendly. Â The campsites are huge with plenty of room between you and your neighbors. Â You can rent a golf cart to get around the campground. Â They have gaga ball, a bounce pillow, an arcade, mini golf, laser tag, swimming pool, skate park, playground, basketball court, volleyball court....the list of amenities goes on and on. Â The theme weeks are all fun and well planned out. Â You can even order fresh baked donuts on Saturday mornings. Â There are even cabins for your non-camping family and friends. Â This is one of our favorite campgrounds around.

Cute!
Such a cute campground completey family owned. They have a nice pool and mini golf. A bouncy pillow and a bubble maker for kids. Adults love the build your own Bloody Mary and mimosas. Yumm! Clean campground and the bathrooms always look super clean!
Great for RVs
This campground is located near the city, not in the woods or country. There are a mini golf course and a swimming pool on site. Stoney Creek is a fun place to bring the whole family. It might be a perfect place to bring a first-time camper to ease them into the experience.
