Nice views clean camp ground

We are passing through off highway 94 needed a place to park the camper for the night. We pulled in on Saturday over Labor Day weekend and the campground is only half full so this is a great spot for those folks just passing by. Guaranteed to have an opening.

Campground is on a peninsula so bugs are bad at night. Paved roads and nice grass. Shower facilities are older but clean. There is a lighted park for kids to play at night and plenty of fishing.

Also they have 20-30-50amp hook ups with a dump and water

Great Overnight Stop

Stopped on a Sunday night without reservations. Nice, quiet campground between 2 small lakes and next to a deer park. Large, level sites with electric hookups. Campground allowed nightly to monthly rental. Some trailers appeared to have been there long periods of time. Bathrooms and showers older but very clean.

WOW

This campground almost made me regret being as generous in my reviews of other places. There's a lot happening here. Clean green spaces to play fetch with the dog or let the kids run are all over this park. The waterfront is beautiful with a nice picturesque bridge to a little island. I wasn't here during what looks to be local county events and contests but the stands indicate how popular this place is. The camp sites themselves were standard and good, no complaints there. The deer park was great to see again as I hadn't come across one in a few years.

The bathrooms were clean and well kept as were the grounds generally. If you wanted to have a large event like a family reunion here, there is plenty of space without having to worry about overcrowding.
