Great C.C.C. park

Our family favorite, shaded campsites with a small ox bowl lake for fishing.

Nice small park, a few sites have full hookup

This is a great little park right in the town of Blanco. Sitting right on the river it gives you the feel of being in the country. Nice for swimming, kayaking, and fishing. There is one loop that has FHU’s

Some campsites are awesome

Our first night was at a site very near the neighboring sites. It wasn’t very private or peaceful. The next morning we asked to move. Around the corner, I think the sites were 25-29, they were better spaced very wooded. We could hear folks down the hill being loud all night since it was kind of…

Country setting but close to town

We have stayed here many times. The park is separated into two sections by a busy road. The office and the River section of the park is on one side. The other side has a lot of great hiking/biking trails. They only have 10 50Amp sites, in Sycamore loop. All other sites are 30Amp. Most RV sites have…

Pedernales

I suppose it would have been better if you get a decent campsite. Backing in the RV, door opened into a spiky bush. Turned the RV around and couldn’t level. The covered table was so far away in another campsites “backyard”. No Wifi or satellite for miles. Couldn’t use the phone for…

Hill Country Haven

Another Texas State park that shines! Sites are big and even though pretty close to the other sites still feels very secluded! Picnic table with shelter and Fire Pit with grilling included. Restroom and Showers close enough to every campsite! Firewood and Ice sold on site just pay attention to…

Braving August - 10th Anniversary Camping Trip

For us, August is the hottest, and least desirable month to go camping, and at Pedernales State Park it is their wettest month of the year: Hot and rainy, so why go camping? Because we’re Covid-bored, and our 10th Wedding Anniversary is in August, and we’re still amped about the purchase of our new…

Nice quiet place

Once I go onto the park the staff were nice, and helpful. If you don't know the park already, it was a little confusing finding my RV spot. Once found, the park was clean, nice and quiet. Unfortunately, I did not take a peek at the bath/shower to see it's cleaniness. It was not overly crowded and…

A favorite

Very friendly staff. They guide you to your campsite and help you back in.
Tubes to rent. Awesome huge trees in a lot of the park. Nice group shelter for rent.
Right on the river, great floating.

Beautiful Campground - Convenient to large cities as well!

We stayed here almost 2 weeks!  Absolutely beautiful, quiet campground.  Weekends were busier with the boaters.  Site was level. Very Spacious and away from neighbors.  AT&T and T-Mobile coverage. Picnic Table was the best design.  It had a tin roof for shading.  Lots of deer to watch in the…

Nice, convenient & good people!

Called during the week. They were very laid back about reserving a spot. They said they had many vacancies since they have over 200+ spots. Bathrooms were clean & neat. Pool was also clean. Walked the dog, found entire place to be ok, No unsitely areas. Dog friendly. Tennis court was down…

Nice campgrounds with even nicer facilities

I cannot express how impressed we were with these restrooms. Seriously cleanest and newest restrooms we’ve seen at a SP in Texas. Had some very unafraid raccoons run up to our site. Yelling and tossing rocks near their feet did not deter at all. Had to interrupt our dinner and put our food away to…

The park is nice , access to river to relax and cool off. 80 percent of the park is residents the only spots available for weekends is in direct sun. If you want a fire you need to rent a fire ring and buy the wood from them. The staff was not real friendly. There’re was only one young lady there…

Nice little getaway

Pace bend is a great little spot if you’re wanting to get out of the city for the weekend. Full of hiking, fishing, cliff jumping (at your own risk), and kayaking. They have reserved sites and first come first serve.
