Mystic Quarry

We traveled to the canyon lake area on Labor Day weekend 2022. The campground was extremely clean and friendly! The shuttle service to Whitewater Amphitheater was awesome. Staff was great. Will be staying here again for sure!

Very clean, great atmosphere. Live music was fun and the food truck was delicious!! Will definitely be going back!!!

This place is very well thought out. The sites are a good size and has all hookups. The park has wifi so my wife was able to work there. There was plenty to do from the pool, bocce, and a music venue. Staff was very polite and also picked up garbage on each site if it was at the curb. Definitely will be back.

I had an emergency and had to cancel my reservations for two campers and they would not put my reservation on hold for a later date.

I was not asking for my deposit back, I was only asking to reserve for a later date.

Guess what, they told me I would lose my $165 deposit.

Terrible management and will never stay with this resort again.

We really enjoyed our stay at Mystic Quarry. The grounds are well kept and friendly. Lots of outdoor games and places to explore. Sites are a good size, some bigger than ours and mostly well drained. Our site 21 could use more gravel or mulch but most other sites look like they had new gravel and mulch added to them. Sites had trees and are nicely laid out, I would not want the sites at the front, may get too much traffic or noise if the place is crowded. These sites are close to the game/ pool area.
Some construction on the grounds, looks like they are adding more cabins and teepee sites. Wifi was not perfect but much better than most campgrounds. Bathroom and laundry was nothing special but clean. The laundry closest to us was closed but the main building had one. We used the dog park quite a bit and it was very clean. Water close by and fenced off nicely with two areas. Staff was friendly and helpful. Will definitely return. Close to tubing, marina, dam and hiking spots. Had lunch at Goofy’s directly in front of MQ, waitress forgot our order and took forever but the wings were good.

Great park run by great people. Sites were great. The Friday night concert was wonderful. The owners were on the property, present and involved. Great little hikes and dog park. We will be back. We visited in September and while hot, it was a wonderful time!!!

Mystic Quarry has excellent amenities. If you want to be social, one with nature, or have a romantic little getaway, this place has it all. We stayed in an RV spot and loved it. We will definitely be back.

This is a great little place. The staff is the best. The whole park is super clean. Lots to do. Disc golf, swimming, lounging. They have a dog wash. Hammocks, showers.

My wife and I haven't been able to take a vacation alone together in years. We had just bought a travel trailer and we had a different place booked but then covid happened and they cancelled on us. We were worried that we weren't going to get some time together but then we found mystic quarry and let me say it was amazing. The owners did everything they could do to help us when we got there and during our stay. They offer river floating from a nearby tube rental place that will come pick you up and drop you back off at the camp ground. So much to do between the hiking trails, pool, hot tub, horseshoes, bocca ball courts, fishing at the nearby canyon lake. It was an amazing time and we will definitely be back.

I would give this a 4.5 if possible but that isn’t an option so I rounded up to not ding the campground as much. We stayed in RV5, which is a pull through. The sites are a little tight but they are what you would expect at an RV park. The staff is excellent. There are a lot of activities. We were here for 4 days and none of us could get the WiFi to connect. The WiFi is my biggest gripe with the campground. We are on AT&T and were able to use use data without any issues. The bathrooms by the office at the best. We will definitely be back.

The first bar licensed in1933 , after prohibition, RYLIE’s is close by with big name musicians.

this upper level park is very well laid out with comfort , privacy and originality in mind, winding roads to sites.

the amenities are well kept and clean, the staff is excellent.

The overall feel is very chill!
