First RV stay so this review is from the perspective of a family that has no experience with any RV Parks. 3 Stars is my starting point and as we stay at more campgrounds I would like to think that we will have a better understanding of what makes an RV stay "5 stars". This location is "first come/first serve" sites so for a beginner that can be a bit challenging. Working with Thousand Trails and the experience with that service was great. The road into and around the park was okay, there was room to drive around the entire park while looking for a spot. The spot's varied in size and there were no fire pits or grills provided by the park in the spots that we were able to see. The picnic tables have seen better days and i'm sure that is not uncommon. The 30 amp S/E/W hookups were clean and no issues with any service during the stay. There was not cable so TV was over the air antenna only. Cell coverage was fine during our stay. The park had activity areas but with COVID restrictions most were still unused. There is road to the lake that you can take to go to a small fishing pier and some rocky lake area access. The restrooms/showers were clean and the garbage bins were full but never overflowing with trash. There are multiple pools and the water appeared clear from a distance. Saw lot's of pet's and every size RV, there appeared to be quite a few long term RV sites. We would visit again since this is part of our Thousand Trails membership.

We've been staying at this gated RV Resort since May, 2023. The new owners are amazing! Customer service is top notch and they do everything to make you feel at home. There is complimentary trash pickup, a dog walking area with dog stations, benches for relaxing and watching stunning sunsets, on-site laundry, propane and ice for sale and a fish cleaning station. Park also has complimentary wif-fi and Verizon and AT&T work well here. Owners are currently in the process of remodeling the office, 3 bathrooms and they are adding a fitness area. There will be a general store complete with snack items and ice cream once complete. All sites are full hook up, 30 and 50 amp sites available. Lake Texoma and the boat launch is 1/4 mile away. The owners provide complimentary boat launch passes too. There is a casino with cafe approximately 1 mile away, 9-hole golf course about 2 miles away and multiple restaurants and shopping within a half hour. We also went on a fishing charter with Triple Header Fishing Guide (thfgtx@gmail.com) and it was so fun. We highly recommend this RV Resort. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed!

We stayed three days at Northlake Village over the Thanksgiving holiday in 2021. We had a family gathering to go to in Keller, Texas and this RV park was convenient. From my own observations, it looks like this particular park caters to long term rentals more than it does short term. While staying here we met a few'residence' who had been there for months. Despite this, the grounds are well maintained and so are the facilities; pool, fitness room, laundry and bathrooms. Because it was a holiday (Thanksgiving) the rental rate was quite high. So, I expected a very nice place. So, it was disappointing to discover that the FREE WiFi didn't work. The office was not open due to the holiday, or perhaps Covid. So, I didn't bother to see if it could be fixed. I have a sneaky suspicion that the WiFi service we were given to connect to is not the one that long term renters get to use. In the future, I will look for another RV park.

The sites had full hookup, loved that! Not close to the lake , did not like that! Bathrooms were not clean and they could do some upkeep on the property! Awesome RV Park! Manager and owner are on site every day, and are very responsive to your needs. Rural setting near Azle. Park is clean and well maintained. Safety and security are foremost, as park is completely fenced in with access via a code-controlled gate. Highly Recommend this as a great park for a short or long-term stay!! About midway between Azle and Boyd. Country setting just a few miles from stores, gas stations, restaurants, etc. Nearby doctors, dentists, and Texas Health Hospital Azle. Several veterinary hospitals in the area. Everything we wanted for a long-term stay!! The friendliness and responsiveness of the manager, owner, and residents is a huge plus, and makes this a park with a real community feel.

We stayed 4 nights in site 24, PT FHU on a level concrete pad with a picnic table and plot of grass. $40/ni after Good Sam. The park is split into two sections; the side we are in is next to an airfield and the other side is by a small dog run (next time, I'll request this section bc I'm traveling with my dogs). They have a store and the laundry is clean and well priced ($1.25/wash, $0.25/12 min dry). The wifi is strong and the park is quiet. There are some long term, possibly permanent, tenants, but their sites are well kept.

I have seen this place a million times living in the community nearby and never thought to check to see if they all tent campers. I was shocked to find out they do accommodate them so I passed through and checked out the grounds and wanted to let people know it exists!
There are two entries at the front of the property each easily accessed from the highway. Though they are gravel they are easy to navigate but do hold a little water in the rain. As you drive into the camp there are 4 main rows of camping, mostly in use by RVs however they do also accommodate tent campers. These sites can be picked up nightly or for more long term use so many people at this park have called this their home for a bit. Despite obvious signs of the long term dwellers, the grounds are clean and well maintained and don't look cluttered like some long term campgrounds will begin to look.
The site offers nice restrooms with showers, a bbq for general use, a rec room perfect for having your breakfast or dinner or perhaps a game of cards with friends and has connections for RVs up to 50 amp as well as a dump station.
For the tent camper sites are wide enough to be comfortable to move around and have scattered picnic tables. The tent camping sites are located on a grassy area next to the pond so they are not squished between big rigs and have a bit more privacy.
This site might not look as elaborate as some, but it more than makes up for the few things you do not have by its friendly staff and on site mechanic.
TIPS:
Call in advance if looking for an RV site, they do have several spaces available but during certain times of the year they do fill up as they are centrally located to many things.
Check out the LBJ Grasslands which are nearby when visiting this location, a great get away for some outdoor activities.

Star Trails is a cozy little RV park just north of Whitesboro, TX. Full hookups with good wifi. Clean and quiet. Nice little pool, walking trails and fishing pond. This is a good little place to visit.

We stayed here 5 months on a work trip. Nice sites most are fenced in with big yards. A few pull thru sites unfenced. The long term sites are well maintained, the staff do a great job of keeping the place nice. Nice big dog park with a pond, also a grooming and dog wash area. Has a pool with hot tub, and a small playground for the kids. We enjoyed our time here, so unique to have a fenced yard. Only down side is the Texas heat and none of the sites have any shade trees.

I cannot speak highly enough of Lake Point RV Resort. We stayed for nearly a year, and moved out to pursue some amazing opportunities. After seeing what else in terms of RV sites there are in the Gainesville, Valley View area, as well as our experiences with these parks, I can only say that Lake Point exceeds expectations. When there's a problem, staff are always ready to help out, whether it's with the site or otherwise.
We recently stayed at another park, and our breaker kept tripping every 5 - 10 minutes all night long. We could not even keep either of our ACs on at all in the summer in Texas! Instead of helping us out, diagnosing if the pedestal was problematic, or allowing us to use our generator to combat the heat, they told us we should leave. I know that would NEVER happen at Lake Point, which is why we came back!
10 out of 10 would recommend to anyone looking for a site in the area of Valley View, Sanger, Gainesville. The facilities are superb and the people are great!

ScoutWe've been residents here for three years and have been very happy. Perhaps not as many amenities, but it is a safe, secure place to stay, with a responsive, friendly staff. We are in Lafons Farm park, and it's newer, so the trees aren't real big, yet for shade, but we have cows and sheep for neighbors and can get to almost any part of the metropolis in an hour and a half or less. On Saturday morning, it was 45-55 minutes to Six Flags. Lots of long term residents, working people, and some retired. Good neighbors!
ScoutThis place is clean and new owners are nice. My problem is with the “mayor“. There are mailboxes on site for long term residents but she refuses to let anyone use them except for her 2 family members that she let have 2 of the junky mobile homes on the property. One is with Denton County SO and his place looks like a junky car lot. Even a disabled vet in another mobile home she wouldn’t give mailbox access to. These are federal mailboxes not specifically for her relatives. The local PD goes to the office to just sit inside and do nothing during their shift.

Might have given 5 stars but both pools are shut down and it's HOT! Lake is accessible- about half a mile down a private road. Interior roads are a bit rough. ScoutThere are water and electrical hookups in a field that acts as the RV park. It is however across the street from their adorable ranch that has a small zoo, rodeo arena and delicious restaurant. The owners are super friendly and our kids really enjoyed the animals. They’ve got lemurs, a kangaroo, bunnies, a zebra, a camel and all the farm animals! Cannot say enough about the food at the restaurant, which they will deliver to your campsite. They also were doing drive in concerts while we were there!

Look, I found this campground by total accident following signs. There is so much construction around Lewisville Lake it is difficult to get where you want to go. There are better parks around Lewisville Lake like Pilot Knoll Park.
This is mostly for RV's and camper trailers. There are a few tent sites near the beach but you are surrounded by baseball fields and city parks. It has a shower house and a laundry facility, but the campsites are stacked on top of each other.
