  • "Best resort in North Texas! We stayed here for a month through December and absolutely loved it. The sites are big, level and solid with grass and trees around and no mud. There’s a big pond a walking path and a huge fenced in dog run. The folks here are so great you feel like you’re with family. The facilities are spotless and so are the grounds. The swimming pool is gorgeous and so is the hot tub and we made use of both every night. There’s a big gas grill that’s free for anyone to use and also a beautiful fire pit up by the pool with chairs around for anyone to use. The clubhouse has a very nice work out room and beautiful laundry facilities and showers. It is quiet and comfortable and the folks that run it are the absolute best. For everything they offer we felt their prices were very reasonable. We have family in the area and we definitely will not be staying anywhere else but the Sugar Hill RV resort. Thank you Terri for a wonderful experience!"

Better send carrier pigeon....

Tried calling several times(during business hours) and wrote several times, never got back to me. Finally just drove there(through the rain), calling again about 5 minutes away. They finally answered only to be told they were full. Asked about other days and they said they weren't sure but to call the morning of. I said you know, I've called and wrote and left several messages- would've been nice to get a call back, as now I'm basically here. She said sorry and laughed. Seriously?! No online booking at all and incompetent management- who would call the morning of to see if you drive X amount of miles to stay? And I'm the idiot that drove there after not hearing back, ugh.

Hi Ryan,

I'm so sorry to hear about your experience—this is not the level of service we aim to provide, and I completely understand how frustrating it must have been to make the drive in the rain after not hearing back from us.

We’ve recently made some staffing and system changes, and unfortunately, it sounds like your messages slipped through during that transition. That’s on us, and I truly apologize. Our team should have responded promptly and with more care when you called.

We're currently working on implementing an online booking system and improving communication so that situations like this don’t happen again. I appreciate you bringing this to our attention, and I hope you'll consider giving us another chance to make it right.

Warmly,

Stephanie
