Welcome to the Windrock Ridge Campground, located in Oliver Springs, TN. Our beautiful campground is located at the foot of Windrock Mountain, where 4-wheeling and ATV riding is in our backyard. We have had a variety of names, but no matter what you call us, we’d love to have you stay with us! Enjoy EASY, FAST access directly from our campground to the “Mountain”, without hauling your ATV. We have a variety of accommodations that are sure to fit your needs.

Our primal campground has a stream, rolling hills, lots of flat landings and beautiful views. This is perfect for your next camping trip here in Eastern Tennessee! Whether you’re coming to hike, ride or just get away and enjoy the outdoors, we’d love for you to see what we have to offer during your next trip to Oliver Springs and Windrock Mountain. We are at the base of main Trail 2, which is easily accessed from the entrance of our campground.

Ginseng farming is NOT allowed on this property

Windrock Ridge Campground

A four acre plot bordered by Burnett Creek. We have multiple creekside, primitive camping spots that are shaded by trees, and adaptable to multiple groups. Our fire pit is carved out in the center of a meadow of thriving wildflowers and makes a communal space to meet fellow campers- If you want. From the meadow to the creek, life swarms all around. Bees, Butterfly Bush, Milkweed, Otters and more enrich the environment. Potable water and a portable bathroom are on site. The site itself is an easy distance to Downtown Knoxville and an even easier access to all that South Knox's Urban Wilderness has to offer. It uniquely offers a hint of back country camping without the 25 mile hike in, a great way to test the waters for primitive camping or a an easy stop close to the city for a seasoned traveller.🦋🐛🌈🚲⛺️Best suited for van, car, bike, tent, and hammock camping without the frills of a KOA. During the busy season there are a handful of bookings for this area and in the offseason usually more one at a time. Bookings are for 2 people each to keep it from feeling crowded. If you have more than 2 you will need to book multiple sites.

We don't drink alcohol at all. We don't mind a little beer or wine, but we ask that you do not drink to inebriation. MJ is illegal in Tennessee, so we ask that you don't smoke here. Cigarette smoking ok. This is a quiet neighborhood so we ask that you keep you conversation to normal levels after 10pm.
