The campground accommodates RVs up to 60 feet with full hookups, while primitive tent sites cluster in shaded areas separate from the main RV section. Gary F. notes "Level sites, nice size sites, clean laundry facility, enclosed dog area." A half-mile walking trail follows the river, and anglers can try their luck with fly fishing. The pool area offers relief during hot summer days, though some RV sites lack adequate shade.
Amenities include clean restrooms, hot showers, and a laundry facility, though water temperature in the shower houses can be inconsistent. WiFi coverage varies throughout the property, and cellular service proves spotty for some carriers. The enclosed dog area provides space for pets, while a large field accommodates both children and leashed dogs. Stink bugs become problematic during September and October.
The campground serves as a base for exploring Great Smoky Mountains National Park, located 12 miles away. Campers seeking river access and full hookups will find this spot works well despite road noise and limited short-term site availability.

Whispering River has 77 RV sites, all with a beautiful view of the mountains, full 50/30 amp hookup, picnic table, and fire ring. We have pull-through, pull-in, and back-in sites, accommodating up to 45-foot units. All lots are spacious with plenty of room for all your toys.
You will have access to all our amenities, including individual bathrooms, coin laundry, a pool, and more! We have over 40 acres of recreation area and thousands of feet of waterfront along the Little River for you to enjoy.
