2021 September Visit

Clean park with all hook ups. WiFi is poor-fair. The NOISE from the speedway is extremely annoying and it’s open till midnight! Other than that it’s ok.

No vacancy! Sorta

Very beautiful place but slim pickings on the open spots. We found site 2 empty the only site not on the lake. Seems like people setup tents to hold sites and don’t return for days it was the week before Labor Day so maybe I’ll have better luck next time

Cater to long term and permanent campers

Very tightly packed and about 90% or more full timers. Only one small bathhouse and tiny laundry room for over 300 spaces. Under construction to add 60+ more spaces. Vehicles are parked everywhere, making maneuvering through the park very dangerous. Pool was nice, site was fairly level, people…

Beautiful park

The trails are well cared for and though it's a very popular place, the waterfalls and sites are amazing.

Small but nice

Smaller KOA about a mile or so off interstate. Small road coming in, but our spot was “too big” for our 40’ towing with two pedestals on each end. Very nice hosts, very clean, small fishing pond, and great location to some attractions.

Great rustic camping by a creek

Wonderful dispersed camping site, up a winding mountain road. Each site is far enough from the next to give you a feeling of being alone, and includes a fire pit (with swing-out cooking grill), a picnic table, and a metal post with two hooks to hang gear on.

The mountain stream next to each site…

Rainy Visit

We were a little surprised that this was in GA, since the address we had from Good Sam was for Chattanooga. We had a very peaceful visit with our pups and everything is well maintained.

Best campground in the Great Smoky Mountains NP

We camped in our multi-purpose enclosed trailer. We stayed in the ‘C-section’ which is generator free, so a bit quieter than the B-loop. We camped 3 nights and saw coyotes and deer in/around the campsite every day. The last day, Sunday morning, as we were packing up to leave, a mother bear and her…

Very nice campground

I would give it 5 stars if it had sewer connection on site. We stayed here 4 nights, and we loved it. The campground is not crowded, there is plenty of space between sites. Most of the sites back into a view of the water. Showers were clean and bathrooms as well. We will probably be coming back…

Spring Camping

We stayed here in May while enroute to Memphis. We pulled a small trailer through the campgrounds and stayed at site A3. Site A3 is a pull thru site, that's labeled at the exit of the site, but you have to drive thru the entire campground to enter and there's no label at the entrance of the site;…

Nice tent camping area

Tent-camped midweek on E210. Lots of open spaces in camp. Tent spot was on level gravel RV pad. Air mattress helped with gravel. Site had water and electricity. Showers were clean with hot water. Be sure to lock up food. We were visited by five raccoons nightly. They were able to get into secured…

Beautiful park

We went during the Folk Festival. The campground was full. We enjoyed our stay. The campsite we stayed at says moderate. If you stay on the paved part, it would be hard to level. But, it had a gravel area you could back into and it wasn’t so bad. Only complaint was our fire pit ended up…

Nice and quiet

Beautiful setting some sites are easier to level than others. Our 36 foot 5th wheel needed to be at the front of the pull through to level , site drops down at rear. We enjoyed the wonderful local veggies and baked goods.

Waterfront Tranquility

Our stay at Chester Frost was amazing. We stayed on site 172. We could not be happier with our choice. The campsite was very spacious, quiet and one of the best views! The sites that are waterfront are spread out really well. This is the most quiet campground we have ever stayed at, at one point we…

Peachtree Cove RV Park

This is a beautiful, well maintained park with a very friendly and helpful staff (family operated). The sights are level and well spaced, and the creek is charming. The only drawback we’ve found is the traffic noise, but this is a narrow valley in the Great Smokies so it can’t be helped. Wonderful!
