I went with a friend for two nights, and we camped and had a blast. (It rained for one of the days and it was pretty thick tree cover - so it wasn't too bad.) Hiked around the lighthouse, climbed on the rocks, tried crabbing (and failed) and went kayaking around the campground in the bay.
Good fishing and nice trails Nice campsites, some big enough for trailers. Bathrooms were very clean

The G loop for tents is nice and removed from the rv area, though the sites are a little close. There are trails nearby and you can cross the bridge to the canoe/kayak rental area, or launch your own from a dock at the campsite. We had a peaceful night and a fun kayak day!
Of note, there were a…
I personally camped in the back yard in my hammock as my family slept in the camper it was humid in the back near the woods but still nice. Campsites are all right next to each other so you get neighbors no matter where you stay.
My son and I stayed on a quick overnight while traveling South. The reservation was easy to make, the staff super helpful, the area beautiful. I wish we had been able to stay more to explore.
A rather typical state part. Fishing, boating, camping, and hiking. The campground was fully booked for the weekend but the other areas weren't crowded as I've seen at other MD state parks. The pump out station was very nice.
Somethings I negatives about Tuckahoe: We lost power during a rain…
I cant speak for all of the loops cuz we only traveled on ours, but the Bohemia loop is amazing. Our site has a perfect view of the river so we went to sleep and woke up every day to that gorgeous view. Would stay here again a thousand times more!!
We stayed in the G loop which is the group loop off the side of all the main loops. We were tent camping. If staying in the main loops, the center rows barely had room for tents and looked aimed for RVs. It would have been very tight if we tent camped at some of the inner loop sites. The tent sites…

This campground is huge! But is quiet. I believe most or all of their sites are pull through. Everyone is very friendly.
This is a great state park with nice campground and lots to do within the parks' 7,000-acre boundary. And, we do mean LOTS! Yes, there are the standard 13 miles of hiking and biking trails but there are also basketball courts, disc golf, boat launch with kayak rental, ranger-led programs, a nature…

A lot to do for the kids and fishing for the hubby also close to home would always recommend
This campground is large and spots are close together and crowded during summer beach weekends. The owners are wonderful, the facilities are well maintained. They even have security at night - you can't get in without a parking pass. Close to the beach, state park, the outlets and a great bike…
Atsion cabins are excellent rustic cabins situated directly on the water. They come in a variety of sizes accommodating up to 7 or 8 people.
They must be reserved in advance and a multiple night rental is necessary. They book quickly during the busy season. However, we rented for Halloween…

This place was great with the pool, beach, and bar. We enjoyed camping here with Military discount and a group of friends for the first two years it was open. Then the prices skyrocketed and it’s just not worth it even with discounts. Plenty of other camping trips to go on that are cheaper and have…
