ScoutCampground was clean, shaded and right on the White River! The amenities were nice including fire pits, pavilion, shower house and laundry. Easy access and parking. Cabins looked nice! Only reason for not giving a 5 is highway noise. Nice location to other attractions.

GuideWanted Aunts Creek campground but its closed for the season, this RV resort is adjacent. Mostly long term 5th wheels and bigger trailers. Sites are fairly close together and somewhat level. Bathrooms and showers were clean. Place is in a bit of disrepair and overgrown some. Owner bought less than year ago and appears to be trying to get the place sorted. We stayed at site 9, its very close to 8 and no fire ring. I would suggest another site maybe 6 or 7 by the swimming pool. Campground next door has swimming, fishing, boat dock for recreation. Host is friendly and helpful. Other campers friendly as well.Store has a few items but not well stocked. This could be a nice spot with a bit of TLC.
LegendFor an RV park in Branson this is a GREAT option. FHU, pool, coffee house, pizza shop, yurts, cabins, RVs and all the fun right in town. We wanted to stay in town and not at the state park this time and this is a great option for that. Brand new facilities for the pool coffeehouse and pizza shop. There are tree, houses and yachts and cabins with fire pits and hammocks and hot tubs. Great option for a girls trip or family Reunion or even couples weekend. The RV spots are nice and level with full hook ups. I would recommend the backend Woods sites if you are needing a little space and privacy. And especially shade. The pull through and sunset sites along with the basic Backing sites are lacking and shade and in the summer months that’s going to be a big deal. The most shaded site for sunset is 38. The best site that I could find overall was 43. We were in 39 and had to spend most of our time around back because there was too much sun even with our awning.
TravelerThe campsites are well maintained. There are limited primitive sites that book fairly quickly. We stayed at an electric site due to no primitive sites being available. Keep an eye on the weather as several of the campgrounds are at risk of flooding.
RangerWe stopped for the night while passing through MO. Tons of spots open on a Monday in August. Cindy at the park office was so friendly and helpful. She suggested spot 100 in campground 2 since it backs onto the river. Lovely sounds! Lots of trout in the river - at that spot, it’s only about 1 foot deep so it was fun to wade in the water and let the pup run around.
Good park store, dump station, trash and lots of hikes to do. Too bad we simply stayed the night
ScoutWe are on a cross country road trip in our camper van, and we are finding KOA’s to be an easy way to drive long hours, and have a safe and reliable place to sleep at night. We make the reservations on the road, our site info is ready when we arrive after hours. The bathrooms at the KOA Holidays have been so nice, and clean. This particular KOA was very noisy. Trains passed close by all night, horns and all. Bugs were loud. We were also woken up by staff mowing the lawn and weed wacking before 8am. We were making coffee and breakfast on our table, when the mowers came right into our spot. Noise is probably less of an issue in an RV, but in a van with screens, or in a tent it will be a noisy night.
TravelerLarge spots in Campground 1 with a lot of shade. Campground 2 and 3 are a little closer together. Very clean and quiet. Showers could use a little up dating. It has hiking trails and roads to bike on. Plus the huge spring that creates the Roaring River and a large fish hatchery. Fish for trout.
