Magical lil’ Campground

This place is not your run of the mill rest stop. Car camp, hammock, tent camp, or rent one the cabins to enjoy the roaming goats and horses around the property. Infamously known in AR as one of the best climbing spots. It does get quite busy, so it’s best to arrive earlier in the day to claim a good spot.

Amazing place to stay & climb

This ranch is beautiful and great for hiking and climbing. The environment is awesome and the place is well-managed. The sport climbing here in particular is really well maintained and the sandstone rock is grippy and clean. HCR is great; my friends and I have been coming there for years.

Very Good Campground

Great campground with virtually every single amenity that you could think of. I really enjoyed my time here.

Amenities include potable water, flush toilets, showers, and a trash dumpster.

The only downside to this campground is that it can be moderately expensive.

Rock climbing with our van

Absolutely love this place! Rock climbing galore. There is an office to buy some supplies (and you will need to check in and pay there) I would suggest the climbing book they have for sale which has a map of all the routes and their rating. We took our ram Pro master. Steep and rocky to get down but very doable. Highly suggest one of our favorite places.

We took our two kiddos and they had a blast! Bathroom, camping, outdoor tables, roaming goats and horses.

Not for Motorcycles

I've never been there but the reviews and the website look wonderful.  I only reviewed to say it's probably not a good place for motorcycles to get in and out.  The road in is dirt and gravel.   I'd still love to go try it car camping though.

Rock Climbing Dream

Such an awesome place for just about everything! They have horse back riding and tons of world class rock climbing. Very safe and clean. Facilities were just fine.

Horseshoe canyon ranch is an awesome place. There are many places to camp as well as bathrooms. It is a spectacular place to climb from beginner to advanced! The ranch also has cabins and horseback rides. Check out their website for more info.
