Green Tree Campground & RV Park

Green Tree Campground & RV Park operates as a full-hookup facility accommodating RVs up to 50 feet, positioned along the highway corridor leading into the historic Ozark Mountains town. The gravel-pad sites include electric, water, and sewer connections, with WiFi coverage throughout the property and reliable cell service for major carriers.

The campground's proximity to downtown creates a base camp situation where guests can walk to the free trolley stop rather than navigate the narrow, winding streets with their vehicles. Christina P. notes that "the roads are very narrow even for my small truck" and recommends avoiding driving in town due to the challenging switchbacks. The owner provides personal check-in service, town maps, and trolley schedules to help guests plan their stay.

Site density varies significantly by season, with winter months offering more space between units. During peak periods, the campground fills to capacity, creating what one reviewer described as feeling "kind of like a sardine can" by departure day. Despite the highway location, road noise does not carry to the camping areas.

The heated bathhouse and shower facilities receive consistent praise for cleanliness, with winter guests noting the staff's attention to snow removal and path maintenance. For those preferring different accommodations, Lake Leatherwood City Park offers a more dispersed camping experience less than a mile north.

Loved our stay!

Great RV site! We went in winter season so it was pretty empty, but the hosts made sure we were comfortable. The bathrooms and showers were very clean and heated. They even shoveled a path for us from our RV site to the bathroom when it snowed! They Wi-Fi signal was strong and fast; there is also good cell service for T-mobile and Verizon for anyone who wants to stay connected. Laundry is also available for a small fee as well as a camp store. The site is only a few minutes from downtown Eureka Springs and is one of the stops on the free trolley line in case you don’t like driving or trying to find parking downtown.

Tucked away from the highway

We really enjoyed it here. The things we wish we knew about the town: Do not drive in eureka springs- the roads are very narrow even for my small truck Town is kind of hard to navigate with all the switchbacks but good food around! Fun family things and beaver dam was gorgeous 😍 Back to the campground - the owner knew us by name the day we showed up, it was so sweet for her to walk us into our spot and get us checked in. She provided a map of town and trolley schedule. The camp store is cute! But I'm sure with peak season dwindling down it may be more on the empty side going into winter. Showers and bathrooms and nice gravel pads. When we showed up it was pretty bare, by the time we left Friday morning it felt kind of like a sardine can. Being right next to the highway I thought it would be loud but you can't hear the roadway at all. If we come back we will probably stay here knowing it's kind of a diamond in the rough compared to other campgrounds we scoped out in the area.

Stay here!

We found this campground after our reservations at a different place were cancelled.  This is the best little campground we have ever been to.  The owner and staff are great.  The whole place has so much charm.  We LOVED the greenhouse.

Do yourself a favor and plan a trip here.
