We are close to Ha Ha Tonka State Park, Bridal Cave, many lakefront bars and restaurants, and the Ozarks Amphitheater. We are at the starting line of the Ozarks Annual Shootout, a fast-paced boating event that benefits Local fire and rescue agencies, held the last weekend in August.

This is a beautiful area with a lot of camping spots. Campground 1 is down by the water and really meant for the big rigs. Most of the other campgrounds (5 total) also have plenty of space to spread out. We saw plenty of 5th wheels up in the other campgrounds. Many had electric, though don't think many have water. Which is fine for a long weeked or something - just fill up the freshwater before heading out.
Of course if you like fishing this is a wonderful place. Not my thing, but I enjoyed people watching.

Well kept state park and trout hatchery. Recently upgraded electric in campground 4, which was nice. Each campground has its own host, which is great when you need it. I hung out with friends in a basic group site, too, and there was plenty of room and a nice setting (site 116). Food at the lodge was better than anticipated and friends in the cabins had no major complaints either.

Asked for a lake view cabin. We were the only ones here since it was a weekday after labor day so all cabins were open. I go to check in and it's a long sidewalk between narrow rails. Not at all easy if you are disabled and with my COPD, I had to stop several times.
I get cabin 6. If you go here DO NOT GET CABIN 6. It's the only one you can't park in front of as it's down the side of a hill. You must traverse several levels of steps down a steep grade. The office hours are over by now so I hauled what we needed down.
The lake view was somewhere past the forest so I'll take their word on that.
The refrigerator was filthy and we had no hot water. Since it was after hours all we could do is clean the fridge, make supper and wait till 9 in the morning to call maintenance.
Maintenance arrives and determine the elements are bad. At about 10:30am they started working. Spent most of our only full day watching them fix the water heater. The maintenance guys were very nice but I'm not leaving my stuff with strangers.
So basically, I spent $200 to sit on a deck with acorns falling on us or on the world's most uncomfortable couch as they worked on getting me hot water. Early morning fishing was shot.
They did say we could now switch cabins but I would need to move our stuff back up Mt Fk-That just to move it again into the new cabin, then back out again tomorrow.
It is a lovely area and the people are friendly but they need to do better. Also, warn people that cabin 6 is more cliff side than lake side.

Found this place on a whim through Missouri. Was looking for dispersed camping and not much popped up in the area. So campgrounds were next up.
This place already had a few good reviews, so I called them up. Immediately knew this was going to be the place. Super nice folks, clear communication, and even showed us the grounds upon arrival.
Lots of amenities for just staying a single night. Everything you need and want in a campground, but not a KOA or Yogi packed site.
Overall 5/5, cheap, friendly, abundance of things to do, and quiet (when I stayed).
P.S. Depending on which site you choose… the cost varies, but still cheap. There is lighting, power outlets, tables, fire rings and outdoor grill, along with many other fun child-friendly things.

This camp ground is a little hidden gem and so pretty! It has running water bathroom and showers! They are so kind and aware. They make shuttling your personal watercraft SO easy! This camp are is very clean and family friendly! The river was pretty!

During our stay at the campground, we found several positive aspects. The pricing was reasonable, the staff was friendly, and the pool was cute. The bathrooms and showers were clean, and the overall environment was pretty quiet and well lit. Additionally, our site was mostly level. However, there were also some drawbacks to our experience. The pond on the property was essentially a large ditch with standing water, which attracted bugs. The distance from our spot to the bath house was quite far, and we were disappointed by the lack of a clear view of the river. While the campground may be enjoyable for longer stays, we found it to be nothing special for a one-night stop during our travels. NOTE- I don’t think the contact info on this listing is correct.

Good: It was clean and tidy, had ice and firewood for sale, was close to the boat ramp for the Osage River, and the bathrooms looked to be newly remodeled. Good shaded and flat spot for our tent.
Bad: No one on-site, no TP, no paper towels, no internet (Other campers said it had been working until the power went out during a storm a few days before; when the power was restored, the internet didn't come back)
Conclusion: For $44.29/night, I would keep going next time.

Very small park but easily navigable. We had a great spot, for our 42’ motorhome and truck. It was a pull through and easy to get into. It’s close to US 44 so a bit of road noise. The owner was very friendly and gave us a map with perfect directions. Told us about the amenities and said if we needed anything to just yell. ☺️ We didn’t leave once we rolled in til morning due to pouring down rain. Would recommend!!
GuideThe manager/owner went above and beyond. We called and said we would be there at around 6:30 (the office closed at 6) and arrived a little later than that. He was waiting for us.
We got a spot down by the river, started a fire, had dinner and went to sleep to the sound of the river running. The place is beautiful and I wish I had more time to spend there. I will definitely be going back when I can spend three of four nights.
TravelerWe stayed on our way to Oklahoma for a night and this campground had great areas to walk around and things to see. Very shaded and level spots. The bathrooms were very clean and nice . Very impressed with the place.

We reserved a site and only gave us 2 options. Web said 20.00 to camp FHU. They also charge 10.00 a person so plan on spending around $50.00 a night. Doubt we will be back. Just not worth that.

GuideWe are trout fishers. This place is perfect for easy stream and running water fishing. We stayed in loop 3, site 325. We walked over to the "river" about 75 yards from our campsite. The water is shallow and clear. it was perfect. You are off grid in this park with Verizon (our service) or T-Mobile (another guest looking for connection). The lodge has Wi-Fi and I was able to pick up signal to text and call when standing outside. No connection for any data at our camp site. No Over air TV stations. One FM radio station. I you want to have any entertainment, BRING DVDs.
TravelerOur little family of 2 humans & 3 dogs had THE BEST first stop in our adventures. We are terrible planners but The B Berry Farm welcomed us late at night and last minute. The whole B Berry family are great people. They helped us get in and told us all the fun & exciting things around the farm to do. The clubhouse is so convenient for any camper with supplies, games, lawn chairs to watch the sunset! Even if you aren’t going to see the lakes around (we didn’t) there is plenty to entertain you right on the Farm. There is an abundance of wildflowers, walking trails, chill zones, a water park, outdoor solar shower, bugs, a friggin Berry field. WITH PINK BLUEBERRIES!!!! They taste like cotton candy — you have to ask about them. There’s a store of goodies that we bought from on the website; we got some Mint Tea, chapsticks, massage oil, soaps, and deodorant because we’re total hippies and won’t wear store bought —- all smell AMAZING and taste AMAZING and feel AMAZING. Highly recommend. The weather was beautiful the whole time; bees buzzing, grasshoppers that look like a hybrid of butterfly’s, butterflies that fly in wolf packs. We left full hearted, happy bellied, and so thankful for The B Berry Family.

ScoutThis hidden little gem is a great place to spend some time. Above all else the owners and staff are fantastic down to earth folks. The park is quiet, the bathroom facilities are a 10 in my opinion. Close to Jefferson City and plenty of river activities. Check them out. You won’t be disappointed.
