Cajun Palms RV Resort is a full service campground resort located in Henderson, Louisiana (St. Martin Parish). Our campground features a large selection of traditional, as well as high tech, amenities to make your stay more enjoyable.
 
Accommodations in our park include over 300 Deluxe RV Spots and 65 Cabins. 20 cabins have a waterfront view of our fish-stocked ponds and include a concrete patio with charcoal grill, private tub/shower, full kitchen, sink, stove, microwave, and refrigerator. Our RV spots have full hookups, 30- and 50-amp, 70+ channels of digital cable, and on-site water and sewer.  Pull-thru and Back-in spots have 20 feet of space between each concrete pad.

Our clubhouse contains an assembly/reception hall with a beverage service counter, band/DJ Stage, private bathrooms, and has an occupancy rating of 750 persons. Our clubhouse also features 2 concession stands serving prepared food, a poolside patio, a second-floor deck overlooking our resort-style pool and kiddie pool, and a second-floor bar with video poker. The clubhouse also has a pool view workout facility, video arcade, state-of-the-art theatre, business meeting room, and coin-operated laundry facilities.

Parkside RV Park features 54 scenic, full-service spots for all RV types. Campers can take advantage of our location adjacent to St. Julien Park/Broussard Sports Complex, a first-class recreational park for families on 122 acres. Amenities of the Sports Complex include baseball, softball, and soccer fields, tennis courts, a walking/running trail with rest stations, a stocked fishing pond, picnic areas, an amphitheater, pavilions, two playgrounds, a splash pad and more.

Sherburne WMA is located in the Morganza Floodway system of the Atchafalaya Basin between the Atchafalaya River and the East Protection Guide Levee. LDWF owns Sherburne WMA (11,800 acres) but manages the area as one unit along with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service’s Atchafalaya National Wildlife Refuge (15,220 acres) and another 16,618 acres owned by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.

The area is classified as bottomland hardwoods with four dominant tree species groups: cottonwood-sycamore, oak-gum-hackberry-ash, willow-cypress-ash, and overcup oak-bitter pecan. Midstory species include seedlings of dominant species along with boxelder, maple, red mulberry, and rough-leaf dogwood. LDWF has managed the timber in some areas to improve habitat; ground cover in these areas is very dense and provides excellent habitat for many game and non-game species. Common ground cover species include rattan, greenbrier, Rubus sp., trumpet creeper, Virginia creeper, poison ivy, elderberry, and milkweed.
